Not quiet...my team is undefeated.

Sold. We'll pay you 4.5 million for 10 years with a 10 million signing bonus, and your buyout will be twice what your contract's worth, since it was gonna be too much money to go get a good coach* anyway. It's the Tennessee way.

I want Gruden.
I want to believe the Grumors.

One thing that doesn’t exactly add up regarding 2012 that I am having difficulty reconciling. The “backstory” is that boosters and power players had it set up for Gruden but Hart submarined the deal. If that is accurate, how did Hart last 3 years after essentially corrupting what the power brokers set up? Maybe someone can give me a better perspective...

Haslam was one of the guys who agreed with Hart basically.

I’m reaching here for some good news...but the lack of “new” rumors this evening from people who I have read that can be trusted since the message board rumors went national ...possibly mean there is truth and everyone has tightened up??! Please be true lol

Pretty sure all the guys with reliable info have uniformly said things are going to unfold slowly, but they've heard nothing to discourage Grudemania.

That's probably the most encouraging sign from TOS and the media... They aren't giving any meaningful reasons as to why Gruden won't come here.

Every nega-Grude says the same exact thing.. "He won't come here why would he leave his easy job hosting MNF just to coach a college team?"

That's literally their only argument: That hosting MNF is an easier job than coaching.

True. As if it's inconceivable to them that the man may have a passion for coaching and might actually want to get back in the game....at a school he loves no less.

How great will it feel to troll all the non believers when Gruden announces to the world he is coming.

Will we forgive them for their transgressions against the Grude? Or do we go full Grude on their arsses?

Soon isn't soon enough so until then it is Groon!

I say we get Freak to keep a sticky thread where we keep a list of names.

Or maybe he sees this and wonders if the mighty NFL is the safest bet for his future...
