I know that....that's why I didn't bring up the loses to Bama, Auburn and LSU. I notice you didn't mention South Alabama loss.

I'm looking at the whole body of work. Not an aberration. Yes the South Alabama loss was bad. Is that the norm? No. I think Mullen is a good coach and I think he would do phenomenal at a program with more resources and better talent.

You are correct, sir: 2007 Kentucky Wildcats football team - Wikipedia

The real depressing thing is the last time Tennessee was ranked that high was 2006.

Yeah but considering we still beat them that year, and they've beaten us 1 time since 1984, I still think we got bragging rights.

I mean even as bad as we are, I'll still be shocked if Kentucky beats us. They find a way to lose against us and Florida.

Is Mullen going to be Grudens staff? If not, who cares about Dan Mullen.

Fair enough. And in all fairness, we did have a few weeks at #9 last year. How quickly people forget.

We also got ranked in 2012 before the wheels fell off. We’ve had spikes but nothing sustained for a long long time

I don't get the infatuation with going for the "up and comers" or the coaches that have been fired elsewhere so we will take their seconds.

It's like trying to sell an item for 500 dollars then saying as someone looks at it, the least I'll take is 350.

Without them even offering.

Good God, go big or go home.

Soon.

Yeah, certainly didn't mean to argue for keeping him. Quite frankly no one should have more than five years at Tennessee without an SEC championship, or at least a division title or two. And I'll hold Gruden to the same standard.

Is there any new stuff coming out today or is basically what the Reddit posted about it? That lines up with what Boro and DTO are saying

Delusional at its finest. Gruden isn't coming to UT. Not going to happen and the longer the "insiders" keep pumping yall with "info", the harder the heartbreak will be. Just like last time.

Honestly, why do u care? There are several threads where u can post that thought, why do some of u feel the need to come spread negative crap..

I don't know, if the east gets back to being dominant or if we are recruiting well and seeing good in game coaching and player development, just losing close games, I would stay on board.
