I can't recall KY being #1, but 2007 they did make it to #8 I believe.
I know that....that's why I didn't bring up the loses to Bama, Auburn and LSU. I notice you didn't mention South Alabama loss.
You are correct, sir: 2007 Kentucky Wildcats football team - Wikipedia
The real depressing thing is the last time Tennessee was ranked that high was 2006.
I'm looking at the whole body of work. Not an aberration. Yes the South Alabama loss was bad. Is that the norm? No. I think Mullen is a good coach and I think he would do phenomenal at a program with more resources and better talent.
Yeah but considering we still beat them that year, and they've beaten us 1 time since 1984, I still think we got bragging rights.
I mean even as bad as we are, I'll still be shocked if Kentucky beats us. They find a way to lose against us and Florida.
We also got ranked in 2012 before the wheels fell off. Weve had spikes but nothing sustained for a long long time
Delusional at its finest. Gruden isn't coming to UT. Not going to happen and the longer the "insiders" keep pumping yall with "info", the harder the heartbreak will be. Just like last time.
Yeah, certainly didn't mean to argue for keeping him. Quite frankly no one should have more than five years at Tennessee without an SEC championship, or at least a division title or two. And I'll hold Gruden to the same standard.
