You take horse whackin' from those people and you take all they have. Better to just let them play out the string.

I wonder why SDS, Reddit, Facebook, and Twitter don't quote this type of information we post.

Its all valuable, even if it's not directly Grudecentric.

He is not an improvement at all. He also lost to powerhouses South Alabama, Kentucky and Arkansas last year. Mullen=5 more years of mediocrity. And Butch beat him in every recruiting battle that I can think of where they were both in it for the same recruit.

State is the equivalent of Kentucky or Vandy. When was the last time Kentucky or Vandy was ranked number 1? He has also beaten quit a few highly ranked west teams when Prescott was there. You are comparing apples to oranges. State is limited in funding, has worse facilities, and isn't the flagship school in their state. The fact is Mullen can develop QBs and his program has been pumping 3* defensive players into the NFL.

UK in 2007 - if I am not mistaken they have been ranked #1 more recent than we have.

I know that....that's why I didn't bring up the loses to Bama, Auburn and LSU. I notice you didn't mention South Alabama loss.

the reasons why UT lands Gruden:

1. New Administration, don't underestimate Currie
2. ESPN is going in the tank where as 5 years ago it was untouchable
3. NFL is on the decline and the future of the league is also going in the tank
4. the roster now has talent and to some degree depth
5. his wife is on board and thats what matters.......

Delusional at its finest. Gruden isn't coming to UT. Not going to happen and the longer the "insiders" keep pumping yall with "info", the harder the heartbreak will be. Just like last time.

ESPN is hemorrhaging money. They've had big layoffs. It's only a matter of time before they start cutting into some of the big contracts.

For the love of God, can you simply let our people share some ray of hopeful sunshine for as long as it lasts?

Would it kill a man to do that? Would it?:realmad:

2 and 3 are extreme exaggerations; neither are going anywhere anytime soon.

Especially the NFL. If the NFL is so much trouble, then pro sports in general is going down the toliet because it still gets way better ratings and makes way more money than any other sports league in the US.

So have numerous other juggernaut corporations in the recent past who seem to be thriving and doing ok today. Pick your industry..automotive, pharma, tech....ESPN will survive
