I just don't think this roster is in that bad of shape. Several good pieces to build around IMO. If we can actually get a head coach/staff that knows how to develop players we should have a pretty strong team by year two.

yeah 2017 is a different beast with these things then when LWS was the most connected. I don't think he understands that...

"Not wanting to" and "being forced to" are 2 different things.

I'm sure he "wanted" Jones to have a really good year and leave no doubt that he was moving it to the next level. He's going the wrong way. And quick.

Both lines are ridiculously talented.

All 4* and 5* guys just begging to be coached to their talent levels.

You haven't been right about anything you remembered about Gruden or Kelly. Might want to check your stats on Mason vs Kelly. They faced off 3 times. Here's a hint, 2 of those times it didn't go well at all for Mason.

Lots of talent on the defensive side of the ball returning next year. I'm thinking 7 or 8 wins is doable. The key to me is just simply developing our players. By year two we should be ready to kill.

We could possibly win one more game this year....we might not even beat Southern Miss....no way Butch is back next year

I think there is a solid first group of offensive linemen who can be coached into a good unit. I don't think the depth is that of a top level SEC unit.
