If he is right, no coach will ever succeed here again. There is no f'ing way Volnation would wait 8 yrs to be competitive again under any coach.

We were a game or two away just last year. It ain’t gonna take us 8 years to get back.

Just need a coach willing take some risks and not let his best players ride the bench.

Kelly and Patterson would probably pacify most I would think. Although I'm good with Kelly, just have the feeling UT would shy away. Doesn't matter about his lack of involvement or if rumors are true, have a feeling "image" would prevail.

Honestly no clue on Patterson chances. But once you get past those 3, you get around half screaming "no" already.
Interesting but I've found VN to be a fair microcosm of the overall fanbase.

After that and maybe a couple more the next guy is proving himself here. In which case he 'll get a fair shot until he makes or breaks. No different than Jones.

Not really. Great potential at QB that just needs proper coaching. Good RBs.

Good WR talent. Good OL talent.

Defensive talent is there as well. Not losing many guys.

I think it's fair to say we currently have the best staff in Knox county.

That's debatable. The only thing for certain is the most over paid.

I just don't buy into that. I like to think I'm a pretty realistic fan as well. The right coach can really have this thing rolling by year two.

Both lines are garbage with no real talent coming up. (Besides Trey Smith but he's already playing.) There are a couple good young linebackers but you need a handful of those guys to compete in this league.

Sounds to me like Currie's playing hardball on the buyout negotiation.
