I've been telling you guys, you might as well accept disappointment now. No matter who is hired, a large chunk of the fans are going to be ticked off. There will be no great unifying hire made by this sorry administration. I just hope they get lucky on a guy that can actually coach.

If we swing for the fences and miss on a Kelly/Gruden type of hire, I’d be perfectly fine with Frost. But I at least want to see the effort put in to get a big name first.

We almost did with Butch but he just couldn’t get out of his own way.

Yeah, Frost would be an easy sell to this fanbase. Plus, he's young, alpha as hell, and looks like Brock Lesnar.

Frost is a homerun. If he wants to come on board, I probably don't spend much time on anyone else.

I would be happy with Frost, that means we will probably get somebody I absolutely do not want.

Lol. That's my point. They don't want to have to Google the next coach's name. They would like to see a recognizable name. I'm not saying Frost isn't a good coach or couldn't get it done here. What I'm saying is if you have to Google his name many will view it as a risky, more of the same type of hire.

Chip Kelly is still my number one as well but I think my excitement level would only drop off by like 5 percent if we got Scott Frost.

I don't get the Google candidate. Outside of like 10 coaches the casual fan will have to Google the new HC anyway

I would actually be ok with either of those two. Frost more so than Brohm.

A really dumb guy that can recruit and not much else. But even his recruiting doesn’t make sense. Sure the classes have been great but he hasn’t really recruited to his needs/scheme.

Sitting in the stands, I know a few of those people. Absolutely ZERO football knowledge.

So true. In the back of my optimistic mind I'm thinking Currie is being super sneaky and is actually wrapping up a deal with Kelly behind the scenes and the day after he fires Butch he announces CK without anyone knowing.
