How? They haven't met.
I was around in 2012 where there was so much information you didnt know who to believe.
This seems to be the opposite. Theres such a lack of information, that you cant believe anything out there.
Im sure stuff guys like SBV say is accurate based on the information they have. The good list info Im sure is true, at least from who boosters think would be good. But like we saw last time, those sources are only as good as the final decision. Theres literally nothing coming from the AD. Unless you count the Hubbs burner account post last night.

I've been in a lot of high level managment meetings and I've learned that a lot of these sorts of people are really not that more informed than you or I. It comes down to who does their homework. The guys I respect most at the top are the ones who ask questions not tell you how it's going to be. Leaders over bosses. I don't doubt there's a list. What I sort of doubt is if it's realistic or if they're truly committed to paying for "the right guy."
Guys like Jon Gruden, Chip Kelly, Gary Patterson, Chris Petersen, you have to offer these guys the CEO position of the football program, an obscene amount of money both in terms of their compensation and so that they have no salary caps when they go to hire a premiere staff.
From what I've seen so far we're maybe talking about adding another $1 or 2 million to our overall football staff budget. I'm not impressed. It's my job (or it was my job) to tell you that you need to add $20 million a year to your overall football budget. You don't want to hear that. I've done a number of projects in the few hundred to several hundred million dollar range and I've never been short changed on funding. I get a lot of push back initially and have to defend by budget approval request for weeks but in the end my budget has always been approved. I'm not a yes man. I am extremely independent minded and I'm a fighter. I only want you to be successful and if you listen to me it's your best shot and whatever you decide I'll do my best but I'm telling you now we need to keep $20 million more of our football profits in the program or we're almost certainly not going to be competitive at the top of the SEC. jmo.
A premiere staff for us will, imo, cost at least twice as much as what we are now spending, probably more the first year because for the head guy you're going to need to offer an outrageous signing bonus. jmo.
Think about it like this. Why would you think you could achieve the same or better level of consistent success than your most successful competitors on a dollar store budget?
At least one of the guys I've listed would say yes to being the highest paid football coach in ALL of football and to having the highest paid staff in ALL of football. Is that what you want? One of those guys? If we keep that $20 million in football profits in the program we can still give the Athletic department the other $50 million or so in remaining profits for their other programs and with a consistently winning football program the profits would likely rise even more. jmo.
And yes, my job in industry has always been to spend other people's money but it's also been to make sure that they know what they are paying for and that they get what they're paying for. My name is ChattaTNVol and I am in project controls (Project planning, estimating, scheduling, cost management, and performance reporting).
Here's what you paid for the last time and given what you spending I'd say your got your money's worth. jmo.

These cats?
They met last week.
UT Board of Trustees The governing body of the University of Tennessee System
11 personnel is the base personnel for Butchs offense. Its not usually a pass set by any means. We did most of our running out of 11 personnel last season. Please explain to me in detail how he telegraphs run or pass? We run out of 11 personell a lot which is usually a pass set.
We gashed them early in the game so was that predictable.
Please do some research on that Miami football season. He was the primary offensive gameplanner after Gordon was let go. Miami players even talk about it in interviews.

Committee meetings. Fall meeting is in November. They can call a special meeting before that, but they haven't. Yet.
Saban told Bama that they had to invest in football to make the program the best in the country, and his demands were met. It paid off. IDT UT is going to invest at that level. There are too many high level decision makers who won't go along with that thinking and don't share those expectations or goals. UT could be at a much higher level, though, and with the right coach, we could return to being an elite program. Right now, we're a joke and there's no excuse for a program with UT's history and resources to have fallen to this level.
Perhaps. But as soon as he croaks, we can abandon that ambition.
