That's fair. You're at least putting some parameters on what you consider a success. I am by NO means a Butch-supporter at this point, but when Dooley was here, we'd have been drooling at the mouth to have 8-4 seasons (hell we would've been happy with a dang bowl game appearance, first year Dooley weird bowl ending excluded)

Side note: It occurs to me that in my eight years here, the vast majority of my posts occur in the midst of coaching searches or perceived coaching searches...otherwise, I basically just lurk.

Yeah, I just won’t take any posts like that seriously. Not even worth acknowledging unless it has some credentials or referenced sources.

No one ever names their "sources," because typically, those "sources" are rogue twitter accounts posting nonsense to troll VN. However, they use the guise that the source must remain anonymous so that the leak isn't figured out... I wish just one time a supposed "insider" would name his source...

I know that's not the end all and final but there's nothing pointing to Gruden winding up at UT as the head ball coach. Nice if it happened yes but there's absolutely nothing out there to even indicate that he's interested in this place.

The question is where did you read that and who wrote the article.... everyone (including myself) is bias on this issue
