It seems we have known for a few days he wasn't going to pull the trigger. Seems to me Barnes should have saved him visit to use after other OVs. That is if the NCAA calendar would have allowed for it

Gotta trust the coaches on when they use their visits. Easy to second guess them when we don’t have all the info. Hopefully we land this kid.

Are you allowed only 1 visit to a recruit? I don't believe that to be the case.

I think so as well but I can't find it.

If that is only a football rule then by all means Barnes going this week is all good. My opinion is based on him not being able to make another trip.

It's really not difficult.

Any time a coach meets with a recruit OFF campus it counts as a contact. It is my belief the head coach only gets one of those.

Any ON campus visit doesn't count as a contact. It's ON campus.

So not sure what you're arguing then? Are you aware of any visits off campus the 2 have had? Like I said, Barnes went to see Petrusev yesterday in Florida, didn't say if that was in home or not.

IF BARNES MET WITH HIM OUT OF KNOXVILLE THAT MEANS HE CANT DO IT AGAIN.


Like I have said a number of times unless it's only a football rule a head coach can only meet with a prospect off of the universities campus ONCE.

That may be the case.

I am 120% correct on home and off campus contact being one in the same. If I wasn't ever football HC would camp out at recruits HS right before NSD. Sometimes coaches go to schools just to make an appearance and never meet with the kid but that isn't what was said happened here.

So then a coach can only visit his school 1 time? I asked you that already and you said no, so which is it?
