I've been thinking this also. Pair that with Uga vs UT is always close. Vegas wants ppl to bet on Uga.
I'm not sure if we win though
I had a fairly long conversation with a player's mom today. Nice lady who I have known for just a little bit. No big inside information because that is not what it is about. Just how big he is getting and how nice some of the players are ect. Biggest thing I got out of it was how the media and fans should stay out of the kids personal business. How we trash kids who are playing a game. Made me think. I do not want to trash a kid. You can have an opinion on who should start and play ect but the kids need our support. I have been hard on QD and at 20, he's the same age as my child. Put a few things in perspective for me.
These kids want to do well and when they fail, we can give our opinions but no more trashing them. As a parent, it really does make sense. You guys can do what you want but I am going to pull and support these kids. I do get a sense that the kids do like QD and he is respected by the team. Go Vols
That line is definitely trying to bait people to betting UT, not UGA.
And to me, that was more of a momentum sparking win for UGA than some emotional, cathartic victory.
Betting wise, I don't think this sets up favorably for UT at all. That doesn't mean I don't think we have a chance, but I'm not investing money in it.
Hey man we're all frustrated with this. Butch was a huge disappointment. What sucks is I think we knew all along. There were warning signs like when he didn't make a bowl game his first year or when he refused to play josh Dobbs even though it was obvious he was the best fit for the system or when we almost lost to app state. I am just ready to move on. We've seen him at his best and it wasn't good enough. Time to move on. I appreciate what he did to leave the program in a better place than he found it.I think that Butch is done. I just don't think it is necessary to pull for a loss to speed it along. It will work itself out. If Kelly gets hired while Butch is still coaching this year, he likely was not going to coach here, anyway. Thanks for remaining reasonable when I let my emotions get the best of me.
The line started at 6.5 and is now at like 7.5, in our last 11 home games Tennessee is 3-8 vs the spread vs teams with a winning record, we are 1-3 ATS and UGA is 3-1 so far. Majority of people seems to think Uga wins by double digits, I don't see how vegas is baiting people on going with UT.
You're a loser.
Literally.. a loser.
Nah.Everyone here has a different calculus as to what scenario benefits UT the most. None are right, none are wrong because they have minimal impact on the game and how this drama unfolds.
I hope we beat UGA but if someone feels it's beneficial that we lose, it just means we disagree, not that he or she is a loser.
People who do feel that those people are losers are probably losers, though.
