If you follow some of them off the field, you will know a lot of them are putting their money where their mouth is. "You" see it as stomping on their country while other people see the flag as being racially profiled, descriminated against, systematic oppression. So "other people" see it as they have been "stepped on" their whole lives due to their skin color and economic status.
The problem with the kneeling and protests is what they are protesting is a liar served up by SJW's and race baiters including the media. It just isn't true that police are out there gunning down innocent black people. It just isn't. The statistics prove this unequivocally. So they are protesting nothing. My 2 cents and that's all I'm going to comment on it.
What about them kneeling and bringing awareness for the people who didn't have the possibility to make plenty of money because of their skin color? The protest isn't about them (athletes). Its about people who and sound like them that didn't have an equal or fair chance of prospering in this country.
Just to show you all boosters have different opinions I just talked with a pretty high up one and he is 100% behind Jones at 8-4 and expects us to make it to that. At 7-5 he is on the fense but if we make a move he wants James Franklin. Mentioned he would up his giving and support offering 7mil.

I like most of what you say but here is the rub with the protest.
Do they make it better or worse?
Imo they make it worse because it makes more People less willing to work toward having an open mind toward the issues we face.
I damn sure would be willing to stand beside my African America friends in making sure injustice doesn't happen but I am much less likely to stand with them in this way.
I think it's more about the injustice. How many of those cops that have killed someone end up in jail?
Yep. Not gonna run his name through the wringer (no idea if I spelled this right lol) here but just know that many, many current Vols probably disagree with your opinions in one way or another.
Thats the beauty of America, we dont always have to agree on stuff. Have your own opinions but listen to people who have different opinions instead of just shouting them down. They might come from a different background and have had a different experience than you. You might even learn something. I know I have in the past.
