Apparently, since he has gone from 3-9 his first year to bowl eligible last year and started 3-0 versus a couple of lower class teams and squeaked out a win against an overrated K State, he's the most awesomeness coach to ever inhabit the great state of Tennessee.

This fan base never ceases to amaze. You question the stupidity of making a comment like "Mason would have won by three touchdowns" and suddenly you have no idea how the game of football is played.

We have a whole truckload of village idiots given global access via the internet.

Mullen is 6-21 against top 25 teams. He’s never beaten Bama and never won the sec West. In fact, in 8 seasons at MSU, he’s only finished greater than 2nd in the SEC West one time, every other season has been 4th or worse... in 8 seasons he’s only had above .500 record in SEC play 1 time.

His best season and only season to achieve 10 wins was 2013 when they went 10-3 and lost in the Orange Bowl. That was in year, wait for it..... 6 at MSU

Year 1 record - 5-7 (3-5 SEC)
Year 2 - 9-4 (4-4 SEC)
Year 3- 7-6 (2-6 SEC)
Year 4- 8-5 (4-4 SEC)
Year 5- 7-6 (3-5 SEC)
Year 6- 10-3 (6-2 SEC)
Year 7 - 9-4 (4-4 SEC)
Year 8 - 6-7 (3-5 SEC)

An objective look at his numbers suggests Mullen and Butch are cut from the same cloth. Average 8-4 consistent coaches.

the only reason his resume even has 10 wins is Dak Prescott.

They’ll be back soon to tell us it’s because they have less talented recruits.

I’ll say it again, There’s a reason MSU has finished 5th in the West 5 of 8 years.

I like Mullen but he's basically Butch Jones of the West.

Only difference is, MSU expectations aren't as high as UTs.

That's why the fans in Starksville are satisfied.

Just so you don’t think I’m dodging, Ive had account issues.

And I still stand beside my reasoning for us pursuing him.

Are you saying MSU’s Recruiting class rankings have been on par with UGA’s?

MSU is around the equivalent of Kentucky, but without the hyper successful basketball program.

So, my question to all of you is this. If Little Stoops put up Mullen-like numbers at Kentucky, and led Kentucky to a #1 ranking and a trip to the Orange Bowl, how many "Hire Little Stoops" threads would be popping up on here.

He!!, we already have one of those just because Kentucky is tied with Florida in the second quarter.
