You've seen him pressing in limited time. We do know a DT won't run him down on the read option though. And that Florida won't just attack with the DE and leave him one on one with the safety.

Freaking Vandy and UGA are the best teams in the East today.

No he had great blocking when he was backing out of the pocket. Wouldn't step up at all. Scary....

Yes, he didn't step up in the pocket one single time that I remember. Constantly back pedaling even into the throw

With good coaching those things would have been true.

Chandler is good

OL is not suspect at all. They are blocking well. This offense just looks like sh!t with a non-mobile QB. Can't run it without one but Butch is DUMB and will for a Square into a circle hole. Smh

The OL played like crap for 3.5 quarters. 2 yards a pop isn't cutting it. Caused their d to bend their ears back and bring pressure all day. The penalties at the end were mind boggling. JJ definitely had a rough go of it.

How? Explain.... Because we would've ran more. The regular QB plays like a sporadic freshman.

He didn't check out of one play today. All I heard about was how well he knows the offense. He doesn't do a damn thing on passes over 15-20 yards. We've seen in limited time that JG can at least put a football on a deep man. Even if it wasn't caught due to a PI.

Scott did not call a great game. He called a very poor game. The QB play was bad and the receivers looked lost. John Kelly was the only part of the offense that performed today, but he couldn't overcome the lack-luster performance from the rest of the offensive coaches and players.

The coach at ETSU would have known to give the ball to Kelly in the redzone both trips. Either UT decides we expect championships and goes after it or we remain the joke that we are becoming. And this is a talented team. I feel bad for the players.

But honestly, you dont really know that.

You going on about JG is no different than the dumb pre-season optimism about Dormady.

JG wil have to prove it on the field like everyone else. Maybe he gets that chance soon.

I will say this, I think Butch has a big problem. I had several friends call me and say they are done with UT football until he's gone tonight. Never seen a response to game quite this bad.
