I'm genuinely grateful for everything Butch has done to get Tennessee back to relevance, but in year 5 I think the sample size is large enough and we've had enough of *these* kinds of games to reach a conclusion. 2014-15 and 2017 against UF, last year against Vandy and South Carolina, arguably 2013 against Vandy...there's just too many of these stupid games to not notice that it's a trend. There are fundamental coaching issues.

Again, I really am grateful to Jones and I would love him to prove me wrong, but this just isn't where it needs to be in year 5.

Agreed. These are my feelings exactly. i e want Butch to succeed but am now ready for a change.

Dormady got hit as he threw as the Florida guy whipped Jack Jones on the play. That's why the pass went high. Jones had a rough day on the line.

What made you think that? QB is inconsistent at best. OL is suspect. Receivers are drop happy. Kelly and Callaway are all we have.

They weren't that good. QD was acting like he was getting knocked down every play but he only got touched a few times. The big one being the sack that he just couldn't allow to happen that made our FG very difficult.

I'm just not gonna hope against hope that Butch will suddenly start clicking. His stubbornness will be his undoing here.

That was really all my post was about. I'm rooting for Tennessee the rest of the year and I think we have an opportunity for a solid year. I hope our team doesn't quit as easily as our fans do.
