Can't help that QB that is better didn't want to compete with what you have said was one the greatest QBs in UT history
Well I mean he's injured. You can't expect our backups to be better than everyone's starters, especially a highly rated starter like Hart. Riley is probably better than both our qb though. Definitely better than both at this point in time.
100% agree with everything. The only reason I haven't completely lost hope in Shoop is because I don't think his talent suddenly left him over night. We saw a dominate defense in the 2nd half vs UF last year. What happened since then? Who knows. GT was a different offense than we'll see all year so maybe just maybe that's the reason for 600 yards. We'll see Saturday. Maybe the staff just doesn't mesh with Shoop?
Also, it was somewhat impressive that we were actually able to hold GT to 28 in regulation. 600 yards and like 42 minutes of TOP, looking at that alone I would expect them to put up atleast 40. So maybe, just maybe playing a team that isn't focused on controlling the TOP those yards will drop which will cause a drop in points also.
Riley is better than QD right now. Period. Maybe QD will end up better than Riley, but there's no argument about who's better right now
At least Ferguson is hitting guys in stride and not behind them or over the their head...theres no argument right now i agree. Also, Riley has played garbage competition 80% of his tenure at Memphis and that counts for something. Jarrett Stidham looked awesome against those arena league defenses in the big 12 and now he looks like hes never played football in his life. Competition matters.
