Question: How is it that Alabama gets guys in like Reuben Foster and others who aren't the brightest bulbs in the pack but they can learn a more complex defense than ours? This is mind boggling to say the least.

Football smart and book smart aren't the same thing.

Kinda like Mayweater can't read but is one of the smartest fighters to ever step in a ring.

They don't play skool any...only football it 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year?

Definitely have to jump on their heads QUICK.
Get it 17-3 or so.

None of this 3 and out **** early.

Impose our will with Kelly. And turn their garbage offense over . Make that swamp start emptying early 4th quarter

Lucky for us we always get off to fast starts.

If ever there was a perfect example of this, it's Mayweather. Dude is equally smart and tough as a brick but, put him in a ring, and he's a savant.

Florida has a bit of an advantage as we have had 3 games in 14 days (or whatever) and they just had a bye week. Although I would imagine they'll come out very rusty.

With heavy rain in the forecast coupled with the things above, I think this game will be very ugly - at least to start. We have the better roster, but do their fresh athletes, coupled with our weak line of scrimmage (on both sides) allow them to wear us out?

Surprised I hadn't seen this. Memphis radio played the on air argument between Blaine Bishop and Paul Kuharsky. Wow.

With rain in the forecast for the game, how will that change the game plan? More running or more passing? What team will rain help the most?

It should help us by forcing Butch/Scott to run the ball with our stable of backs we have, I see Kelly having a Travis Henry in the swamp 2001 type game

Yeah I heard it live on 104.5 the fan in Nashville.

It was over Bishop making a little plug on air about his blog, Then Paul tried to belittle him saying he has editorial supremacy, then Bishop responded about his playing football knowledge, and then words got heated and Bishop put him in his place IMO.
To me Paul was being a condescending prick and Bishop called him out on it. Then words were exchanged and Bishop didn't back down.

So. . . I don't do a lot of shopping. I went to get some jeans today and felt like I was in a different world.

Can anyone tell me where to get a decent pair of jeans that doesn't have this "flexible" material. I'd really like a pair of regular jeans, but couldn't find a decent cut without the spandex anywhere.
Man I love the flexible material.

PK is ALWAYS a condescending prick. I need to hear this.

Explain...

Kuharsky was dropped by ESPN, so he started his own website and blog. I think he requires subscribers. He was then interviewed for an article in the Nashville Scene. Kuharsky apparently comes onto Blaine's morning show every day at a certain time. Before he came on, Blaine made the comment that no one ever interviewed him when he left football and joined the media and started a blog.

Kuharsky came on and started ripping him for it and basically asked him, "who are you?" He said that Blaine didn't write enough and that wrote so many pieces a year. I think Blaine reminded him that he was a 10 year NFL veteran and a 4 time bro bowler. They went on for a while without anyone stopping them.

It was basically a microcosm of today's media. Kuharsky sounds like an arrogant, know-it-all because he has written about football for 20 years.

I can see both sides of the argument. Blaine shouldn't have taken a shot, although it was (presumably) light hearted, and Paul shouldn't have EVER made the comment "who are you"...
