Alright it's Wednesday of Florida week and I think we all need to come together on this WGWTFA Wednesday and focus on whipping they ass on Saturday.

All the jeans talk can come Sunday cause I'm gonna have some denim hot takes for you rednecks.

Larry Scott is looking good as the OC. He's dialing up shot plays that have WRs running free. QB has to hit the deep ball early to create momentum.

Kevin Beard has done a great job with the WRs. The routes look great and they consistently get separation. Catching the ball isn't on him.

RBs- Kelly is good but we need to rotate at least the top 3-4 guys. Kelly isn't a big guy and we don't have to use him up early in the season. All 5 guys look good and that's a testament to the RB coach.

I have nothing to say about the defense. I'll wait to see what he does this week. If he has more excuses or if he has answers. Because Florida isn't good on offense.

Why is it Elliot Berry looks better than Jumper and we won't move him inside? Jumper isn't one of our top LBs. Ignont needs to be playing like NOW. Dumb this dumbazz defense down that's not working and play your best athletes everywhere.

No. Shoop's only problems were 1) he had no defensive tackles the 2nd half of last season, and 2) his defense played GT the first game of this season. I blame our offense as much as the defense for the yards UT gave up in that game. If the offense could have managed more than 1 or 2 1st downs through the first 3 quarters of that game, the yardage the defense gave up would have come down considerably. The offense ran 23 plays through the first 3 quarters, roughly 11 minutes of possession. Meanwhile, GT ran close to 80 plays and had the ball about 34 minutes of the first 3 quarters. Just getting the offensive TOP up to about 20 minutes of the first 45 minutes would have done wonders for the defense. Of course, I'm not saying the defense would have shut down GT if the offense had been able to balance out the TOP, but I think we could have knocked off a couple hundred of GT's rushing yardage with a few more 1st downs.

I fully expect the defense to look pretty good against the gators and the GT game will become a distant memory.

Berry looks much quicker this year than last. Looks in better shape as well. I've noticed him when he has been in games.

I just watched the mash up, but the quiet confidence in certain assistants is striking, Scott in particular.

I honestly think it's likely this is how the game starts. Except for Florida and not us. And then we claw our way back and win.

I would love to jump out in front of them. But when's the last time we actually did that in a game?

It's true. The "claw-back" game it prototypical "Butch ball." Would be nice to see the Vols win going away this weekend.

Question: How is it that Alabama gets guys in like Reuben Foster and others who aren't the brightest bulbs in the pack but they can learn a more complex defense than ours? This is mind boggling to say the least.

Be prepared to see more Jumper than we do Bituli, Berry and Ignont.
