Hate to do it. But feeling really sorry for Hurd right now. I know the guy quit the team and all, but clearly he had someone giving him some terrible advice. Guy could be in the NFL right now and instead, he's at Baylor sitting for a year watching them lose to Liberty. can't help but feel bad for him and wish he had better counsel.

Baylor is a mess but Rhule is legit. When (IF) they get the climate fixed, that program has everything he'll need to flourish...might be too late for Hurd tho.

I remember when you brought him up at the time he was first being recruiting, I watched everything I could find on him including the playoffs. Then and now I could not agree more as far as RB. I lost interest in Akers as soon as Ty committed.

Can't disagree enough. Hurd had unbelievable resources at his disposal but refused to use them I suspect out of pure arrogance. I loved Hurd, I loved his style, but he blew it, plain and simple. Next.

I made mine saturday. Have to say, my first two attempts at ribs I didn't have the seasoning right. But Saturday, man, I was licking the tray like Dog would.

Well, u can't blame him. If it wasn't for Spurrier, he would have just been another goofy looking walk-on(?) WR that never played in college. Spurrier's system made him a star, which led to a cup of coffee in the NFL and now a job in broadcasting.

I'm mostly kidding, he obviously was very talented, but I do think Spurrier and his offense gave him more of a chance than most coaches would have.
