HBO's "Game of Thrones"

...and not to put too much thought into a fantasy story but the difference between Jon (or Aegon) and Dany is that they are ignorant of the blood relation while Jaime and Cersei just don't care. Now, if Jon (Aegon) and Dany are still getting it on after they know Jon's (Aegon's) true identity? Then, yeah, maybe that's kind of gross.

That and the whole heir to the iron thrown thing will definitely throw a monkey wrench into things...

Right now... They don't know what they don't know...

Even though you know they related to each other now in a abstract way, it is hard to picture the characters as related because you have "known" Jon to be a Stark for years now. I have met really attractive women in real life before that I did not know I was pretty closely related to till later. It is hard in real life to just turn that attraction off once it has been established. Then you spend the rest of your life feeling really awkward toward each other when you meet at family reunions. And no we didn't have sex..thank God. We found out before it got that far.
Knowing your past... I'm kinda surprised you stopped lol

"All Hail Aegon III of House Stark and Targaryen, Lord of the North, The Resurrected, King of the Andals and the First Men, the rhyohar, Protector of the Realm."

Aegon VI I believe, and that's not counting Rhaegar's other son Aegon, since he was never King.

Awesome episode, a lot to like about it. Sounds like we may still get Hound vs Mountain at some point. I imagine the final season is going to be very action packed.

What is the Night King's motivation for massacring all of humanity?

Are he, the half-dozen or so WWs, and millions of wights just going to stand around staring at each other for all of eternity if they win?

There has to be a motivation for him, but we haven't seen it yet.

"The Pit" scene with the wight was unique just for having so many of the series main players in the same place at once. That was a first. I think I enjoyed that the most.

Lol..if had happened in my wild and wooly days, I would have just nailed it anyway probably. I didn't think straight for a loooong time 🙄 Thank goodness it was after, and I wasn't being promiscuous, and we were just dating. It is a long story, and it's kind of funny now.

Maybe he just hates the living now.

Thoughts on this episode:

I am going to have to worry about Tormund for a year or more.

So glad Jaime broke up with Cerci.

Cerci won't have a fourth child-- All that prophesy has come true. On the other hand, I think Dany may have a child--With Jon?

Glad to see someone using Bran's knowledge. OTOH, Bran knows everything, except when Sam told him about Jon being the true heir to the throne and he looked surprised.

By by Little Finger. That was a very rewarding scene.

I've been thinking about that too. I assume he is dead. That one hurts too.

Shoot, the whole Sansa and Arya scene after they took out LF, talking about Ned and his wolf-pack analogy, got me teary-eyed

The whole scene with Baelish getting got...... yes! I actually screamed that when Sansa addressed the charges to him, and again when Arya slit his throat.

Am I the only one that got excited about the dragon. I was hoping it would be ice but magic is just as good

Definitely lived how she laid it all out there...LF was the primary reason the Starks lives went to the pooper.

So how did Cersei conspire with Euron when neither knew the wight was going to be in the picture. Euron's excuse was to wait out the war between living and dead.

I guess he could have "planned" to quit regardless of what happened but he's a hell of an ad lib'r

Could have been discussed from the standpoint of seeing the dragons... And instead the wigt gave him another out...

"In the A Song of Ice and Fire novels, the Night's King was a Lord Commander of the Night's Watch during its earliest years, not long after the Long Night ended and the Wall was completed. He is considered a legendary, half-mythical figure, not far removed from Bran the Builder."

"However, the Night's King fell in love with a woman "with skin as white as the moon and eyes like blue stars"; he loved her though "her skin was cold as ice", and when he gave his seed to her he gave her his soul as well. He brought her to the Nightfort and bound the brothers of the Night's Watch to his will through sorcery. He declared himself "Night's King" and ruled over the Wall and the Gift as his own. The King in the North and Joramun, the King-Beyond-the-Wall, joined forces to defeat him."

I think Dany will have 3 children by Aegon (Jon) That would fulfill the "Dragon must have 3 heads" prophecy

I assume because we didn't see him die, he's not dead.

The only reason I could think he might die is because (I assume) it is the actor and not the originally conceived character that has made Tormund so awesome. The show may want to add more focus on Brienne of Tarth and Jaime's relationship. She has been an excellent influence on him.

On totally different subject, what was Tyrion doing lurking around outside the Jon/Dany sex chamber?

But in order for the woman to exist the WWs had to predate the Night King.

So it could be that the show's "Night King" is not the same as the one in the book but rather is the OG of the WW's.

I don't know enough about the early defeat of the WWs to know if the OG was killed and these are new ones or if the OG is still around.

Given how the show has merged characters I wouldn't be surprised if the show's NK is not the same as the one in the book.

So back to the original question - what is it the WW's want?
