HBO's "Game of Thrones"

I think Dany will have 3 children by Aegon (Jon) That would fulfill the "Dragon must have 3 heads" prophecy

Not going to happen imo. Beniof pretty much said in the post-show that the information bomb about Jon/Aegon was going to cause major problems between him and Dany for several reasons. I think Jon defeats the NK, but dies in the end. I am on the fence now with whether Dany dies or not also.

Oh yeah!! The moment I've been waiting on since Littleprick held that knife to Neds throat finally happens...BIH Petyr Baelish...hahahaha 😂 I loved it..my next most favorite scene ever in GoT will be when..

Jaime guts that evil whore twincester of his, and sends her to hell to keep Baelish company for eternity

But in order for the woman to exist the WWs had to predate the Night King.

So it could be that the show's "Night King" is not the same as the one in the book but rather is the OG of the WW's.

I don't know enough about the early defeat of the WWs to know if the OG was killed and these are new ones or if the OG is still around.

Given how the show has merged characters I wouldn't be surprised if the show's NK is not the same as the one in the book.

So back to the original question - what is it the WW's want?

To destroy life..They are a destructive force of nature....just pure entropy in action.

Wow, that's not how I see things going down at all. We will have a long time to speculate, though. I can't believe it's going to be 2 years for another episode. For a show to go that long between episodes is unprecedented but I guess you can get away with that when you have such a large and loyal viewership.

I believe that has changed and they will begin filming about a month later than last season and we should be about a year away from season 8. I wish I knew how to "link" it up, but I know u can google it.

You don't need a spoiler tag for speculation lol.

They have to fit quite a bit in a small amount of time-- (Defeating the WW) Maybe what happens afterwards could be the sequel to GOT? (Especially if Jon/Dany have a child)

Considering how popular they are, I can't see HBO leaving these great characters completely behind to explore the far past. Having the remaining Starks (Sansa/Arya/Bran?) try to protect that baby might be a good idea for a sequel. Of course, any idea of what goes on in the near future couldn't be spilled because it would tell us what happens in the upcoming season.

Thankfully football season is next week, and I hope it's only a year instead of 2019.

Fantastic episode.

Things I'm wondering...

Where does Arya go from here? I'm assuming she continues working on her list. Who is left on her list besides Cersei? The mountain?

Will we get to see another Magnificent Seven get together? Jon Snow, Beric, Hound, Jorah, Tormund, Gendry, maybe Jaime? That would be epic.

Naming Jon Aegon is lazy. You sacrificed a dragon to get one one-handed soldier. What exactly is the wight dragon breathing and how is it destroying the magic infused wall that'a not supposed to melt? I'm glad Littlefinger is dead. Now they can stop ruining him.

Now would be a good time for you to stop watching the show since you hate it so much. If you have read the books, then you have to realize more than others that the story is not about the game of thrones, but it is The Song of Ice and Fire. It is just now getting to the only real conflict that matters in this story..The war for life itself against total obliteration. Trying to make sense out of magical beings like dragons and White Walkers and what they can and cannot do is kinda silly too isn't It?

I wonder if the show cut out the horn because they'd have to go back and explain it so they just used a dragon.

I would be willing to bet the books will have the WW in possession of the horn.

Too many years invested to just stop watching. Even if I hate it I still have to know how it ends. Every good fantasy series has rules and laws. Things that make sense in that established world. I would like if the people who make the show were consistent in the world they themselves established.

If Aegon the Conquer could marry and share the throne with his sisters it should be no problem for Danny and Jon

I don't think it's lazy, but if you do, you should blame George for that. Or Rhaegar.

Zero chance the showrunners didn't ask GRRM how the wall falls, and they almost certainly did it years ago. It would have been way easier to just make it a horn if that's all that was needed, and there would have been plenty of time to incorporate that.

zero chance? nah. grrm has said there will be differences from book to show. Show folks might have switched to dragon for effect purposes. I don't recall any other way the wall can come down outside or the horn of the spell being broken in the book. So saying zero chance is an obnoxious statement
