have been kicked around for decades--and been kicked around by the police for decades. That's not to pretend that African Americans have committed a lot of crimes, etc.--but it's a fact that AA's have been kicked around in numerous ways for decades--taken advantage of by mortgage lenders, targeted by police, etc. This quite obviously informs some of Obama's thinking--and why he is sensitive to the issue of cops shooting black men, often for less than good reasons.

You conveniently try to equate the black experience with that of whites. Not the same. And even so, Obama was much more a moral leader in every way than the moronic gasbag---Mr. Little Fingers--who now occupies the White House.

Why would anyone expect our President--who is a proven racist--to call out racists? Trump is the catalyst for white supremacists--otherwise known as weird 20-somethings from rural areas who haven't had a date in four years and thus have taken to walking around in capes and carrying shields. Even losers need to relate to SOMETHING.

White supremacists are responsible for thousands of terrible hate crimes in our country's short postbellum history. I don't get why so many are eager to blame both sides for this. If Antifa is bad (it is), then white nationalists are the devil.

People are blaming both sides because both sides were responsible. When everyone involved is using improvised weapons or wearing some form of body armor, they're not coming to participate in a peaceful event.

It would be great if people would quit espousing greatness because of the color of skin. It means nothing and there's nothing to be proud of when you had no choice in the matter. Be proud of raising a child that cares about people, be proud of participating in making your community great, be proud of making a difference in someone's life. Espousing pride in skin color does nothing but divide people into us Vs them.

No one shut down anything. Counter-protesters showed up, as they should, and have the same right to assembly. Violence broke out, which should not happen. A known neo-Nazi murdered a woman.

Constantly attempting to deflect blame away from traitors in hoods and skin heads with bats and shields to liberals is insanity.

I get that both sides share blame, but this seems to be the most important point to many people.

Given our history, do you blame people for the desire to fight white supremacists? I have no reason to want to fight black power people. They have never harmed me, my family, or any of my ancestors. The same cannot be said for most black people about white supremacists.

Anyone involved on either side is a moron. They are both looking for a fight and they got it. The best thing you can do for a klan rally is simply don't show up. Then it's a bunch of grown men in pillow cases marching around while maybe two people watch. Same goes for BLM or anything else, ignore them and they go away.

The media handed Trump the presidency operating the exact opposite way. Instead of ignoring his tweets and statements they got in a tizzy every day. And they kept generating buzz for him, while taking some positions that alienated moderate voters and actually pushed them to Trump. The MSM is equally obsessed with this confederate memorial stuff, and every single event related to them must be covered to the hilt. They are helping motivate these fringe groups to gather in the same place, with predictable results.

The level of racial hatred in this country for the population overall is declining over time. The problem is that in the extreme right it is increasing.

I see nothing wrong with shining a light on that and exposing it for what it is.

Of course not because they stand outside voting locations with clubs intimidating people to vote for your guy. Both sides are thugs and scumbags, I support both sides running each other down in cars
