I tried not to mention anything about the travel times because it's obvious that the story arcs are not in synch. Samwell curing Jorah's greyscale overnight while in the same amount of show time Greyworm leaves Missandei's bed and sails to Casterly Rock. I can see that we have to discern that these events are not occurring simultaneously. Those aren't really plot holes. Maybe taking highgarden, but we don't know how many people died or how long it took. Or how many people they still had. The only glaring issue is how Euron has managed to do everything from building a giant fleet to sailing around the continent so quickly (although I suppose he could have still had ships at the iron islands).
We may get answers to who will take over in Dorne and the Riverlands. I would say we will probably at least hear something about the Riverlands later this season or next.
Yeah, I know. I was just being hopeful.
How long would that journey take?
Months in real life with favorable winds. So would walking from the Wall to Winterfell, and riding to White Harboor then taking ship to Dragonstone, and marching an army to Highgarden, riding from the Crossroads to Winterfell...etc etc etc..maybe just because they don't show the passage of time, doesn't mean things are happening as fast as we think. It is a big assumption on our part.

Are people really that nitpicky about the times on the show? That's just weird to me. Do people want entire episodes of them walking/sailing from place to place? This show has people being brought back from the dead, people warging into other people, someone who can change faces with people, undead walkers, etc...and people are worried that times aren't adding up? It's the same with TWD and some of their fans. I mean I get that there are plot holes in any shows, but nitpicking a show like GoT is just absurd to me lol.
