HBO's "Game of Thrones"

Not me. A wedding is pointless that this point in the story.

The dead are coming, Westeros will be ashes. The theme of the story is that now the Iron Thrones is worthless, the majority of people just don't know it yet. I don't see how the storyline could possibly justify a wedding.

I think we need some new epic white walker action to remind us the viewers about this as well

Olenna's disclosure was necessary for Jamie to eventually have to choose between Cersei and Tyrion, again.

The reddit spoilers stated that Jamie will leave Cersei to joint the fight against the Night King

This makes sense and there really wouldn't be a more just ending for Cersei then to be betrayed and murdered by Jaime. I hope it happens.

So I'll continue my "communications problems" rant. Some news is instantly known across the 7 kingdoms yet Bran shows up a Castle Black quite some time ago and nobody in Winterfell knows about it until he shows up there. Bran specifically said he needed to talk to Jon Snow but no one sent a message he was at Castle Black?

Oh well

The ol' plot serving narrative... at least they show at least some discretion in using this... unlike, say, TWD - who blatantly abuse it.

Another thought on Lady O's death, if Jaime had any doubts about Tyrion's involvement in Joffrey's death, he doesn't now. Lady O's confession shows him his brother wasn't lying to him.

Also, it allowed us to see her play off his love of Cersei, and how it has blinded him to the horrible things she's done. Unlike Cersei, Jaime has a conscious(well, other than when it comes to incest). It's another chink in the armor, driving him from King-Slayer to Queen-Slayer.

It's easy for me to believe the spread of information. Clearly time is passing based on travel, so ravens have time. There was no real reason for castle black to send the raven, so even if you would expect it, I don't see it being a problem that they didn't.

I'm still wondering how euron got to casterly rock so quickly

Euron seems to be everywhere at the right time.

My biggest problem with this weeks episode is that they seemed to cram too much into one episode so that everything seemed rushed.

With fewer episodes and so much to cover I feel that is the norm from here on in

Was Euron at Casterly Rock? I know part of his fleet was there, but I didn't see him (haven't rewatched it yet). The Iron Islands are to the west of Westeros, so as long as Euron wasn't there, it works.

Did they switch the locations of Lannisport and Casterly Rock? I thought Casterly Rock was further inland.

His ship was tearing Danys fleet to pieces..he wasn't shown, but Silence was.

Missed that, even the ones for next season? Also this latest hack is reported to be 1.5 TB which is much larger than the Sony hack. Crazy
Only for 2017 season. It was on reddit and can still be located fairly easily. I read it. It's been accurate to this point so I assume it will hold up through the season. It's a big picture storyline spoiler. I'm going to assume that whatever happened yesterday was a lot more specific concerning Ep. 4.

People who read the five books were pretty much ahead of the storyline until last season. I fall into that group and it hasn't affected my enthusiasm for the series.

I read all the books a long time ago. I just see reading the book and actively seeking spoilers differently.

To each their own.
