HBO's "Game of Thrones"

You can make more.

I would say it's useless against walkers thought.

Would be great against the wights though

Very few maesters and/or people know how to make it. That's one or the reasons, the Mad King/Aerys made that one guy(forgot his name), that Jamie killed right before he became known as the "Kingslayer", the "Hand". He knew how to make wildfire

Not sure what you're referring to. Jaime killed the Mad King's Pyromancer just before killing the Mad King.

If you're referring to Jon Arryn (the Hand that was dead when Game of Thrones first starts), Jaime didn't kill him. Lysa Arryn did.

Yes, Aerys made his pyromancer his Hand and Jamie killed him. Arryn was Robert Baratheon's 1st Hand.

Aerys made his chief pyromancer the HoK after Tywin quit and went back to Casterly Rock when Aerys pissed him off by making his heir Jamie a Kingsguard. Jamie killed him and then killed Aerys. That is what he's referring to....Sorry for the run on sentence.

Aerys first Hand was Tywin Lannister, who quit soon after Jamie joined the King's Guard. Aerys had at least 1 more Hand, maybe 2 before he made his pyromancer his last Hand. Jamie killed him first and then killed Aerys

I had no idea the Pyro was the Hand.

I'm kind of embarrassed actually lol. Details like that don't usually escape me.

I don't believe it was mentioned or shown on the show. It is talked about in detail in the books. I think it may have been talked about on one of the DVD History and Lore clips. I can't remember for sure.

Do you remember who the short timers were? I can't remember who they were.

That's news to me as well. I haven't read the books but it feels like I have given the amount of GoT lore youtube vids I've watched! I guess there's plenty more bits and pieces to be had in the books.

Same here. Never read the books but I'm pretty well-versed on the lore and backstories.

It's pretty amazing how many hours can be spent just googling backstories in GRRM's world

No, but I do know Aerys burned 'em alive. Jamie mentions their name, I think in "Storm of Swords" while talking to Brienne at Harrenhal. I think it was when he is bathing after Roose Bolton freed them from the Bloody Mummers

On Westeros.org there is a forum entirely devoted just to the Dothraki language.

I love the show and have spent a lot of time on thrones wiki, probably more than I should have, but that is just people who need a damn outdoor hobby. A generation ago some people learned Klingon, just as sad.

Good memory. It's been 6 years since I read that book lol.

I got bored and re-read it this March or I wouldn't have remembered. Have u ever read an illustrated book that reads like a history book of Westeros and the whole world that Martin created? It's supposedly written by a maester. I can't think of the title right now, but it's great and some of the illustrations are beautiful.

Had to look it up. It's called "The World of Ice and Fire: The Untold History of Westeros and The Game of Thrones". It's well worth the $35 price tag. Reads just like a history book. I enjoyed it as much as the books and u learn a lot of stuff about characters u just get a paragraph or 2 about in the books. When u finish it, u will know as much about Westeros as u do western civilization, or at least, I do.
