Is any of those rumors against the law?
This is per Bloomberg.com: Donald Trump's new Washington hotel located just blocks from the White House, owes electricians, wood workers and a plumbing and heating business more than $5 million for unpaid labor, according to liens filed against the property with the District of Columbia... Trump has acknowledged not always paying all his bills, saying it's often a negotiating tactic when work is subpar. His companies have been sued numerous times over unpaid work. Among them were landscapers at Riverside South Park in Manhattan, who sued in 2001 seeking $111,000. Contractors at Trump Park Ave sued in 2003 seeking $206,000. And in 2010 a painter in Chicago sued a Trump entity claiming to be owed over $4 million.
Trump considers not paying for work as just part of doing business... This should not be news to anyone. He has an extensive history of not paying his bills.
Ignored the media? I guess you mean with the exception of hacking the associated press, bugging Sheryl Atkinson's computer, labeling James Rosen an unindicted co-conspirator for just doing his job, issuing subpoenas to countless other reporters to try to force them to reveal their sources and testify in criminal cases. Plus his administration prosecuted nine cases involving whistle-blowers and leakers compared to three by all other administrations combined. Sounds like he really ignored the media.

Don't bother engaging armchair. He/she/it won't respond. He/she/it is too busy digging up any wwwwaaaaayyyyyy left propaganda, bashing the south, bashing God, bashing anyone that thinks differently than him/her/it.
I believe a little Jesus would do him/her/it some good. God bless you, armchair.
Very telling Trump quote today at another of his rallies. He attacked the media again, saying "I'm the president and they're not." That is illustrative of Trump's autocratic/authoritarian impulses. He's basically saying that he can say whatever he wants because he's president--and that is both total bull$hit and dangerous. He lies, he lies a lot, and he's trying to intimidate the media. Won't work. He's sinister because, whereas most people who try being more factual and honest, Trump just wants to keep spewing nonsense for his base--you people!--and then attack the media for exposing his BS. Notice that Trump has no real interest in governing or in trying to understand the health-care issue or anything else. He's doing what he's done all his life--which is to spend his every waking moment telling people how great he is. Everything is going "great," all the time, even though the opposite is the case. Most presidents actually try to be presidential. All he wants to do is keep campaigning--keep pandering to rural/christian base. Sociopath.
What's wrong with rural America or christians?
You act like they had a choice.
This past election the choices were dog crap and cat crap. The choice was made on which they thought stunk less.
This election speaks to the failure of both parties and it boggles the mind that the only answer either side has is *****ing about it.
At this pace trump is going to get reelected and we will have the unchanging parties with no answers to blame for it
Never said anyone had a choice but armchair is always making comments about rural america and Christians labeling them racist and bigots. It's getting old.
I will agree with you that neither party has an answer for Trump except for crying like an 8 year old school girl. People are drawn to Trump because he's not politically correct, we've had enough of that the previous 8 years and we got safe spaces and black lives matter out of it. I do believe trump takes it too far at times however he's done putting up with the BS and I kept hearing CNN saying these special elections would tell us the true temp. of America and just how tired of Trump people are. And it told us exactly what you eluded too, they didn't vote Trump because they thought he was the brightest bulb in the box they voted Trump because they're tired of the same old washington bs that was Hillary, Republican and Democrat.
I will say this, Trump has done wonders for SWVA and I know CNN is reporting the mines here in SWVA are still closed but that couldn't be any further from the truth. They're operating 24/7 and hiring people back at rapid rates, if you're willing to work they'll put you to work.
If you've been promised class A work, why would anyone pay for subpar work? A person building a 5 star hotel would be an idiot to pay for 1 star work. That's Just being a smart businessman IMO.
If if if he does business like this, then why do companies and contractors take the risk?
Simple, money. However, I actually know several large contractors that will not even submit bids on a Trump project because of the difficulty they have had in getting paid on past projects that he was involved in.
No one ever gets rich playing mister nice guy.
I'm certain that is the case, there are a couple name brand Fortune 500 companies that we will not work for because they are notorious for slow or no pay. I don't understand it but there are companies out there where it's normal business practice.

There is a difference. Trump agrees to a contract. A scope of work and a price. The work is completed and he withholds payment at the end. Comes up with BS reasons to do so and forces contractors to litigate to get their money. That is not tough negotiating. It's being dishonorable cheat.
As much as you hate lawyers for being cheats, I didn't expect you to defend this type of behavior.
