Remember my post about Roger Miller? I know you remember it, but do you remember the context? You never commented on whether you knew what I meant, agreed or disagreed.

No big deal, but there was a lot of truth to it. Haha, irony. :)

The guy took on UT as a personal challenge and he is not going to stop until the job is done, and I believe all we need at this point is a season that breaks our way to get the job done. He has invested his career, his heart, and his family to be a part of something great. He is willing to put in the hours and the time others are not. He is a great roll model and father figure. He brings experience and pride and relentless enthusiasm. I would say he just needs a season to swing his way and Coach Jones will be talked about in college ball history. Trust me. You WANT to be a part of this right now. Negas need to go home to Alabama.

He's a mercenary like many coaches. He asks for a raise every year.

Doesn't sound like crying to me. Sounds like a drill sergeant telling you to pack your crap up and get moving. :)


[having said that, I don't think volfannbama is a troll, certainly not a bama fan...he's just been sour on the team lately, and especially on the coaches...it's okay, there's room for us to disagree on those particulars while remaining fellow fans]

Didn't seem like Butch worship to me. And it didn't seem like crying.

Where has anyone said "if you don't worship Butch.."?

Why are all negavols crybabies? If anybody says something good about Butch you worship him.

I appreciate Butch for what he has done so far with the program but there is always room for improvement. He may be the guy to set it up for the next coach or be the one to lead us to the promised land, I just don't know yet but it always could be worse.

And I have to thank him for all the hard work he puts in. It's a bright and sometimes merciless spotlight where he is, but he is doing the job with class. Success is there for the taking.

I don't remember what I ate this morning.

If it slipped me, it wouldn't be the first time. I just thought it was awesome RM got a shout out.
