Anti-Trump Hysteria and Silliness

Maybe our problem is with Congress and not the current president? We keep electing the same idiots over and over again. In East TN there has been a Duncan since the early 60's and as hard as I try that do nothing idiot keeps getting re-elected. We need to fire our elected officials locally and then something might change.

I agree with this

Not me. I'm just trying to laugh at his cabinet meeting, which gets the trump humpers' panties in a twist...so you are mostly correct

I'm sure there are quite a few folks like you out there in this regard, but you're vastly outnumbered by the over emotional Volprof types

It's funny that no one has talked about obama going in front of a foreign crowd talking about the movement that was going on in America. Especially when he's supposed to be the president and he should be talking about unity through trying times. I guess that wasn't making himself look good to a certain group of people.

And, I guess firing any general or admiral that disagreed with him (Obama) or went against him wasn't ego?

The level of vitriol and hate was nowhere close with Obama as it is with Trump.....and you know this.... man

😂 Theres really no difference in the hate. Maybe the amount, since he's one of the most unpopular presidents of all time, but who's fault is that? I mean y'all praise the man for pissing people off, but then turn around and condemn people for hating on him. I'm neither left or right, but I truly don't understand this thought process.

In a way, that's exactly what Trump does, himself: bash and mock people, then gets upset when they don't kneel before him.

Sure I am. I'm not the one looking foolish each and every day posting up nonsense you know is never going to be proven.

You and Velo and Luther are all the same. Never going to accept reality. It'll always be one more crisis, one more "scandal" and one more time you think you've got him.

So sad.

I agree that Trump will ride this out and not much will come of it.

He is still a buffoon and an embarrassment.

Buffoon is somewhat accurate, though I'd label him as bombastic and a boor.

Embarrassment is in the eye of the beholder. How many people thought it was embarrassing for Obama to go on the worldwide apology tour? Or when NASA wanted to bring about awareness of Muslim accomplishments to science? (they did help bring scientific advancement, but it's been a few...centuries)

You can't say Trump is an embarrassment and ignore what previous Administrations have done that many consider embarrassing. Not without being a completely partisan hack. And you aren't one of those are you?

I disagreed with many things Obama did, but I didn't find him to be embarrassing. I disagreed with many things that Bush II did, but I didn't find him to be an embarrassment to the office. He had the occasional gaffes which were embarrassing, but they were typically just mistakes.

Trump's a different beast altogether. I think he needs to be given some space to try and effect his agenda, but he will have to alter his style a bit in order to be given that space.

And that is the primary defense of Trump that I hear... What about Obama? or What about Clinton?.... If the subject at hand is Trump, then the subject should be limited to Trump... It doesn't make someone a partisan hack because they ignore deflection.

Yeah, you tell Schumer and Pelosi to give that a whirl. When they are opposed to everything from the start, it makes it that much harder for things to pass or fail on their own merits. Obamacare is failing on its own merits. Trumpcare is likely going to fail on its own merits. The situation is ****ed.

But, other ideas like the infrastructure projects, the tax plan and many other ideas Trump has should be given consideration instead of the automatic "no" given by the DNC side of the house. And before you point it out, yes, it is a repeat of the GOP with Obama.

No, you make Trump the subject at hand because of the argument I've posted before:

"Yeah, but that's different."

If you want to judge and gauge any President, there must be a measuring stick involved. And you must apply that standard fairly across the board. Trump doesn't sit on an island. He is President and should be measured against his predecessors. Yes, Obama, Bush 43, Clinton, Bush 41, Reagan, Carter, et al all did embarrassing things.

You can't single out Trump because you don't like him.

Didn't Obama say "Muslims built the very fabric of this country"? If Trump said that, the alt left screeching machine would be unbearable.
