It affected the Nation adversely. It was one of the most embarrassing political spectacles in US history. Unfortunately the whole world saw it. And yes Trump is a very insecure person that can't seem to function without constant adulation and praise.

Trump wanting to talk about his approval ratings just emphasizes how insecure he is. Any poll which is a full ten points about the RCP avg should be thought of as an outlier. Rasmussen is a right wing leaning poll which has him at 50% while no other poll has him above 42%. He also claims to have higher poll numbers than Obama had 5 months into his Presidency which is just wrong - as Time pointed out today.

I'm saying the Rasmussen poll is complete BS. It's a full 10 points above the RCP Avg and 8 points above Trump's next highest rating. It's a sign of Trump's insecurity that he needs to create alternative realities. He is a profoundly insecure person. He proves it all the time.

However, I could give a hootie darn about the poll numbers. I'm specifically calling out VV for posting the BS that Trump didn't say anything about those sailors.

I remember that tweet about the sailors... and it's not something that should be nitpicked out of respect for the families but since the sailors bodies have been discovered, Trump has not tweeted anything of condolences for them but has tweeted a lot of nonsense about poll numbers.... Maybe that was what Velo was talking about?
