I meant you try not your eyes. Weird.
Anyway, liberals are stupid. This is a fact people using their brains can get behind. This amazing Obamacare legislation with the full cupboard of help you stand so strongly behind was not only utterly terrible legislation, but also admittedly passed with the speaker of the house proclaiming they need to pass it to see what's in it. This you use to prove a point of something good.
That's utterly retarded. Now, go crap on that chessboard you little pigeon.
This is exactly why it's impossible to debate you. You don't understand the basis of what you're arguing against so you talk about what you want, injecting presuppositions and predictively following it by strutting around thumping your chest.
I simply pointed at the ACA as an example of legislation that Obama passed with a full democratic legislature. Full Stop. I made no comment on it's quality, my support of it, or a belief that it was good. You clearly made a litany of presuppositions that weren't rooted in anything I stated.
This is why your arguments fail tums, you constantly and consistently conjure up points to arguments no one's made. It a bit sad that you weren't given (or provided) the direction to develop better reading comprehension skills early in your life. More disappointing is knowing you'll not process these words and continue making the same mistakes...
Good job TC.
The public portion of these gatherings of all of the president's top advisers are usually staid affairs. Photographers are let in to take pictures. The president makes a very brief statement. A reporter shouts a question, unanswered. The end.
Donald Trump did something very different in his Cabinet meeting Monday.
First, he reviewed the various alleged successes of his first 143 days and made this remarkable claim: "Never has there been a president....with few exceptions...who's passed more legislation, who's done more things than I have."
Once Trump finished touting his administration's accomplishments, he turned to several of his newly-minted Cabinet secretaries like Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue. Each of those Cabinet secretaries lavished praise on Trump, which he accepted without comment but with a broad smile.
At first, I thought Trump was just going to have the new members of the Cabinet spend a few minutes praising him. NOPE! It soon became clear that Trump planned to have every Cabinet member speak. And when I say "speak" what I really mean is "praise Trump for his accomplishments, his foresight, his just being awesome."
The whole thing reminded me of a scene directly from the boardroom of "The Apprentice." A group of supplicants all desperately trying to hold on to their spots on the show by effusively praising Trump -- each one trying to take it a step further than the last. And Trump in the middle of it all, totally and completely pleased with himself.
What are your thoughts on the cabinet meeting?
......and that affected you adversely?Trump is insecure and he not only needs praise from his subordinates; he mandates it. It looked liked an episode of "The Apprentice". Trump was putting his ego ahead of the dignity of his cabinet. I felt sorry for James Mattis who looked very uncomfortable but was the only cabinet member who used his moment to praise the men and women of the military instead of joining in the "Dear Leader" praise of Trump.
