Rings have always been associated with Championships.......real ones.
What about Stoops and Ky getting rings for a bowl loss ? Youre just using this excuse to trash CBJ
What's your point? You think these kids don't deserve anything after a bowl win over Nebraska cause it wasn't a championship game? I mean it's not like the rings were just given to us, they were earned. I think this was just a clear excuse to bash CBJ when he didn't even have anything to do with it. The MCB is who gave out the rings, not Butch. Try again Sherlock.

go to a Nebraska board and see if they were given a Music City Bowl championship ring
Im not a Kentucky fan, so i dont really care what they do but yes that is stupid too and everybody laughed about it....just like everyone laughed about our MCB rings. If you want to chalk it up as trashing CBJ, then rock out, its stupid. Nobody is walking around flashing a MCB ring talking smack about it, which is all those rings are for.
First of all a ring for the kind of season we had just draws attention to the fact that we are now officially a middle of he road program.....and.....unless you're Elvis those rings are garish and gaudy and I would never wear one....
The MCB wouldn't have ponied up that much imo. UT most likely covered the difference.
They (MCB) gave watches to the players -- one for sale on Ebay -- Made in Japan and China so ... http://www.ebay.com/itm/2016-MUSIC-...589624?hash=item2f01f97938:g:HZEAAOSw~AVYoxTM
But I thought these mementos were something the players worked hard for and will be cherished forever. :thud:
