Not at all. If someone figures out what prevents him from using his accuracy to put the ball where it needs to be... he'll be a great NFL QB. My doubts are based on the fact that he has worked his tail off for 4 years trying to correct them... and they were still a significant problem this past fall. It is difficult to describe in short hand... but his timing and anticipation are off. You simply can't survive in the NFL without those things. You can have an average arm... if you can put the ball in a small window.
You are correct. I won't debate that. However, when the ball is in his hands, special things happen. The kid is a playmaker. Some things aren't tangible. That is a risk worth taking to me.
