Murphy, Palmer and Jones will be on campus soon as well. At least one of those guys will likely be a factor this fall. My money is on Palmer, he's already 200+lbs, and I think he was underrated. I think the other two will need some time to add weight but hopefully they already are and will be ready to go. JMO

We also have a healthy Brandon Johnson to look forward to.

I don't see Byrd moving. I can see him stealing a few carries per game to help balance the workload of JK and crew.

I don't know Scott's tendencies yet. I just hope he's not a draw on 3rd and long guy.

Ahhh the Xbox EA Sports developed philosophy. In many instances, that is exactly the right type of play to run. Calling 4 verts and airing it out every 3rd and 15 works great on the Xbox.

You seem to speak from experience. I'm more of an analytics guy. I'd link you to footballoutsiders but the formatting of the website might be broken if you're trying to view it from your Xbox.

Depends on the circumstance. On your own 5, 3rd and long with a RS freshman QB. A draw isn't a bad play.

Yes, if you specify a bunch of variables a draw isn't a bad play. But at that point it's also a very predictable play with a low likelihood of success.

I am just saying that you can't call Coach Scott a bad play caller if he calls such a play in that circumstance. With either of our QB's this year, you are going to see some conservative calls early in the year. But heck, you would see a draw called in that circumstance with a senior QB.

I can't wait to see the soon to be thread titled "Tyler Byrd is a great wide receiver crow eating thread"

As long as he gets the ball several times. I think that is where most of the crying comes from is his ability at CB being wasted to catch two passes a game isn't going to cut it. Now if he starts touching the ball a lot more those go away. He clearly has the ability at WR
