Is your Vol Card "root against" list completely different in football and basketball?

Not so sure about bandwagon, but one should never root against the Vols.

I'm pulling for Gonzaga, it happened in baseball.

Nope. I hate everybody but my beloved University of Tennessee Volunteers. I also appreciate people who cheer for one school across all sports. It's hilarious to see someone who is an Alabama football fan and a UNC basketball fan, or Ohio State and Duke, etc. I only cheer for Tennessee in every sport.

I do like a good cinderella story or the underdog, and I'll pull for a local team occasionally like East Tennessee State University. But generally I hate everybody Tennessee plays in any sport.

Similar. I would add on Ohio State for football and Florida for all things. I don't really have much against UNC in basketball.

Root against everyone that isn't Tennessee, of course.

But...

Special hatred in football for (in order):

1. Alabama: By far, not close.
2. Georgia
3. Florida
4. Vandy/Kentucky/USCjr.: They're basically all the same entity to me. Three equally trash programs that must be given Big Orange beatdowns annually.
5. Clemson: After this year, they've joined the top 5.

Then, I love watching these schools lose (no order):

Texas, Michigan, Nebraska, Notre Dame, USC, Penn State, Oklahoma.

Basketball, I don't care nearly as much, but it's Kentucky, Florida and UConn.

I cheer for UT, Purdue and Indiana State in all sports. If they play each other it's Tenn always...My hate card is pretty much towards everyone else but especially Bama, UF, UGA, IU and Kentucky & Duke hoops.

I usually dislike Ohio State in football and Duke in basketball, but I don't always root against them. Depends on matchup.

Hate FL and Bammer. Don't care about the rest, well, tend to hate Clemson and favor SC because I'm a S Carolinian and SC always sucks at everything...wait...hold on I just came out of a 9-year coma.....

Football and Basketball:
1) against whoever the VOLS are playing.
2) against whoever has an effect on our championship goals during and post season.
3) always against Vandy.
4) post season, pull for all SEC teams except Vandy.

I root against Ohio State in pretty much everything, every game.

In football, I tend to root against ND as well. Probably bball for them, too.

In bball, tend to root against UK.

Other than that, I tend to root *for the SEC in non-conference tilts, however in some scenarios & situations, root against Florida or Vandy. Like, if the SEC is killing it in bowl games in a bowl season, then I'm cool to see Florida or Vandy lose. I would however like to see Bama not be so damn good. Like, come back to earth at some point. Geez.

Yeah....because has won so many national titles and they have been to so many Final Fours, I am sick of seeing them in the national title.... (WTF)

But agree with Kentucky in b-ball if they go 0-28 it is the perfect season for me.
