Yeah. Thats why you recruit a QB in the 2014 class and beyond. You don't leave a guy on the bench in 2013 and 2014 who can help you win immediately because you wanna keep him for 2017. Makes no sense.

He's been going hard against QD ever since people wanted to see what he could do over Dobbs earlier in Dobbs' career when the passing game wasn't working well. BB got pissed because he thought Dobbs was getting unfairly criticised, so he started bashing QD to balance it out and hasn't stopped since.

Personally I think JG will have a higher ceiling, but it's silly to have a strong opinion about either QB at this point. Nobody outside of the coaching staff has seen enough of either.

Jumper needs to be on the pine. If he sees a lot of playing time we have problems at the linebacker position IMO. We have good talent at that position that needs to be developed.

Hindsight and all of that. Had CBJ not tried to keep his word and redshirt Dobbs, folks would be bltchln about him breaking promises and how that kills recruiting.

He broke his promise. I haven't heard anyone complain about it. You think the Dobbs family would have been upset with their son being named the starter instead of redshirting? I don't.

My whole point in all of this is that Butch prefers the guy he trusts over the better fit or higher ceiling. If Dormady has his trust then he is gonna start over JG who has never taken a snap.

I just don't like what I've seen out of QD at all. I actually think DBs would love playing against him. That's why I don't care for him at all. Never saw the hype around him this board does personally.

Wtf? You don't have to agree with him but BB has listed multiple reasons he doesn't like QD as the quarterback. Not athletic/fast enough to run the system Jones has run here so far, stares down receivers, and doesn't have any touch on intermediate throws.

Again, feel free to disagree with any of those points listed above but to throw this BS race angle onto it is just ignorant.
