Reasons to be negative about the 2017 season

We will go 7-5 at best and Butch will get a mulligan. Contrary to the "posivol" opinion I don't believe he is the long term answer. Just because he helped us recover from the Kiffin/Dooley era doesn't magically make him "the guy". I say he doesn't get us past 8-4 again in the regular season and is canned (or takes another job) before the 2020 season.

Losses: GT, Alabama, LSU, a loss to UF or UGA (not both), one we absolutely shouldn't (USCe, Vandy, Mizzu, UK)

They have always plays Georgia well under Butch's tenure. All the way to the pig Howard game we had no business being in that year and almost pulled off the upset.

we lose 6 players that we have no one who has come close to being able to replace those 6 players production or anyone that looks like they are capable of replacing that production.

Agree with your particular point. But he's 2-2 vs Georgia, and not 1-3 only because of a miraculous Hail Mary with 4 seconds left. I'm not sure that qualifies for "he knows how to beat Georgia".

Oh the irony of a vaunted author who doesn't understand the usage of a hyphen in creating compound adjectives. Maybe your writing skills don't suffer as much when you aren't in the throws of expressing a deeply-rooted inferiority complex on a football message board?

Butch's clock management in that game was astounding, but such details always seem to get clouded over in the fart fog y'all put out whenever you post your pathetic messes. Get a room, boys. Haha, not really. It was a half assed attempt at a quote from Menace II Society. One of those times when something popped in my head, it seemed funny at the time so I posted it. Then wished I hadn't.

I couldn't come up with where I had heard it before.

If I had a nickle for everytime I noticed the improper use of a hyphen.

Only true DT we can count on right now is Vickers imo, and, God bless him, but he's just a solid and dependable, not a stud/difference-maker. There's a ton of questions at DT, DE, LB and corner right now. I know a lot of people are saying "we'll be a lot better on defense this year".....I'm not sure much of anything points to that.

Can't imagine. But then again, I never thought I'd see again a UT defense so inept that it could be mistaken for something that Sal Sunseri would put together, yet that's what we saw last season. Oh the humanity.

i'm going to take the ultra positive outlook and say "there's no where to go but up" regarding the defense.
