Albert Haynesworth rants on AD hire

Every criminal has a great excuse why they did what they did. No room for stomping a guy in the face on the field ever........no matter if hes laughing at you or not.

I get it. Too often we forget that the field is their office rather than a playground. The laughing part was just adding insult to an attempt at a career ending injury. Had the other guy had his way AH would have been carried off the field on a cart possibly costing his career and money to support his family.

Do you know for a fact that this guy attempted a career ending injury? Of course not and neither does Haynesworth who is using it as an excuse to look less like a bag of ****.

Can't blame AH at all for the way he feels. The average Vol fan didn't know DB before any of this and they still don't.

If you want to know why our fan base is considered a joke at just look at the Poll results so far, hungry is in 2nd place and always bitter is 3rd. Maybe it's just the fans on Volnation that should be overlooked, well about 40% of us.

It could be that some are always bitter because they're hungry.
The fans want 1 thing and that is victory..unless they get it they will pour it on who ever is over there as they should. the lady running things better hope Jones does not crap his pants or the AD or she will be ran out of town quickly.

Just from the info already put out there I think Fulmer and friends are not as angry about not being named AD as they are that Currie was. There's clearly unresolved bad blood, which is a huge bummer. Friends and former players who are loyal to Fulmer are naturally going to go to bat for him. I just hope everyone can kiss and make up so we can focus on advancing UT athletics baggage free.

Lol no way Phil is going to come out and try and crush all this divide.

I've been called worse.

His reason was the guy attempted to block him in a way to injure his leg to get him out of the game and possibly end his career and take away his and his family's lively hood. We he got up to tell the to watch out the guy was laughing about it, then he kick him in the face.

No room for that crap EVER?

That may be true, but it works both ways.

Who's the worse lowlife scumbag the one that purposely tries to end a players career with a deliberate dirty hit and then laughs about it to their face or the guy that retaliates?

It's all crap for sure and maybe he should have left it alone and maybe his whole story is a lie, until proven otherwise, I back his play.

What did the league think of his explanation? Man's helmet came off and he stomped on his face. At that point, anything that came outta his mouth is not worth hearing, and that includes today.

To answer your question, the guy who retaliates, always. You handle your business between the snap and the whistle. Commissioner should have kicked his sorry ass outta the league right then and there. It would have saved the stupid Redskins a ton of grief. After that incident, what did Haynesworth do besides screw up? Nothing much. That the kinda guy you want to back?
Bud, you are on your own.

No one isn't going to be happy. I don't give a flying crap who was hired. If it was Fulmer, everyone would have been complaining about him having ZERO AD experience. If Blackburn was hired, you'd have some folks complaining that's he's an up comer and doesn't have experience at a powerhouse school. We hired Currie from K-State who has UT ties, has worked here before, and has had successs at a powerhouse school, yet we got people complaining about that. Not everyone was going to be satisfied anyway so how does Haynesworth's perspective on the hire change anything?

Personally it's just constant bickering coming from both sides cause Blackburn wasn't hired. That's all it is. I'm very pleased with the hire and wish Currie a lot of luck. At least give the guy a damn chance before you start assuming he's a bad hire.

This! / thread

Sums it up perfectly!

Skull, it is more search exhaustion than anything. The circumstances of this search is something no Tennessee fan stomachs well. It turned into a campaign that ended up looking like a clown show. And that is a big reason why someone who did no campaigning got the job.

Bad Blood? No worries, it's a way of life. We have given the other 13 fan bases fresh joke material. I am not worried about Fulmer's wittle feewings. When I read Charles Davis backed this hire, that was all I needed to hear.

I love Phil, but if he's sulking he should look at his bank account.

If he wants sympathy he should open up a Webster's Dictionary and look between "sh$t" and "syphilis".

If Phil want to still get paid for speaking engagements, he needs to take a step back before someone exposes dirty laundry.
