TrumPutinGate

:whistling: Who made you the hall monitor?

Orange Crush belongs at the kids table. Saying "so" a bunch and insinuating sensitivity on the part of people he presumably disagrees with is lazy, petulant trolling.

There's ample info in here to raise an eyebrow, whether you think it amounts to anything or not:

1.) Why was Manafort involved in Trump's campaign - in any capacity?

2.) Why did Flynn reach out to Russia before the inauguration, why did team Trump try to cover it up, and what's the deal with all the pics of Flynn with Putin/RT?

3.) How on Earth is it not a conflict of interests for Ross and Tillerson to be involved with this admin?

4.) Why did a billion different pro-Trump twitter bots pop up on twitter during the campaign?

5.) Why does Michael Cohen keep changing his story / speaking in legalese about Prague?

These are conversation/debate pieces. Instead of addressing them or any of the other moving cogs in this storyline, Orange Crush took the 'ole "I'll just stick my thumb in everybody's eye" approach.

I've always enjoyed being mean to people who do that. :whistling:

Boy, that Steele dossier - which I was assured with high confidence by VolNation experts almost two months ago was merely a 4chan prank merely intended to dupe gullible individuals like me - really does get more and more interesting by the day it would seem.

Old news, but, for the life of me, I still can't figure out Comey.

Tillerson, Sessions, and Comey are the biggest question marks in this entire scandal. Everyone else even slightly implicated seems about as guilty as sin, who we could nearly put on trial simply through news reports, but these three, I still can't figure them out. Comey, in particular. I go from thinking him in on it to thinking him a sly investigator willing to go the extra mile (at any cost) to let Donny hang himself to thinking him just completely neutral with no ulterior motives whatsoever.

Comey's behavior was incredibly bizarre during the election cycle...and continues to be bizarre.

We know that Clapper and Brennan were both hacked by "Crackas With Attitude," who then shared info with Wikileaks (clearly a Russian Social Engineering arm at this point).

Maybe they've got something really good on Comey?

Francis Fukuyama just compared Tillerson to William Rogers, the SecState when Nixon was in office. Take that how you want too.

I asked a question and got no answer. Inherent in the question "So?" is to ask, "Even if Trump did go to Russia and come back speaking well of them, does that prove that he's a Russian spy?"

Anyone with an ounce of rationality would have to answer, "No. No that does not prove anything", which I'd venture the guess is why that line of conversation didn't go much further after I asked that very easy question: So?

As to the "sensitivity" comments, you jumped into that thread with a minor meltdown, cursing those of another mindset and telling them they needed to shut the eff up.

If you don't want someone pointing out your hyper-emotionalism, there's an easy remedy. Don't be hyper-emotional.

And I really hate to mention it now, but cross-thread vendettas are kind of middle schoolish and betray a bit too much sensitivity.

Just in my humble opinion.

A.) There was no other "mindset" to have in regards to the Republican party during the Civil War / Reconstruction, it's Historical fact certain people have trouble processing on this board.

B.) There was no "meltdown" involved, the "sensitive" crap is a card you routinely play with people you presumably disagree with - I say "presumably" because you don't take the extra step to make any relevant point. That either makes you incredibly lazy or a troll. I don't care to dichotomize here.

C.) There was no intent of a "cross-thread vendetta," take your own advice and don't be hyper-emotional. I saw you being intellectually lazy again and decided to point out another instance while I was at it.

D.) In response to the "So" garbage, look at that post of mine you quoted. There's more than enough info/questions to cause concern, or at least thoughtful discourse. Maybe you wouldn't be so myopic if you would take a deep breath and calm down?...just my humble opinion.

You are a liar.

Do a history search on my posts and quote any time I've used that or something similar. I did it twice in one thread because both of you were posting overly emotionally. Other than that, in over a decade of posting here, I can't remember ever having posted that or its like.

So, go ahead. Quote away.

What if this Russian stuff was made up by Putin to manipulate the media?

It's a possibility, but we know for a fact that Trump has long business ties with Russian oligarchs and with the Russian mob itself (Russian mob is deeply in bed with the Kremlin). We know for a fact that the Russian mob has been laundering money and conducting illegal gambling rings out of Trump Tower and the defunct Taj Mahal off-and-on since the early 90s.

How he has avoided any prison in the past three decades, I have not a clue, but it must be as simple as having green. If he were you or me, we'd have already been doing at least 10-20 years in Sing Sing.

Devin Nunes doing his best Baghdad Bob performance today for the national press.

So, no evidence of any contacts with any Russians whatsoever, eh? And intel officials told you this directly, eh?

So, I guess we're supposed to believe that, when Carter Page went to Moscow in the summer, he just isolated himself in a protective bubble and only had contacts with non-Russian citizens, business people, and government officials.

Get outta here, Nunes!

I've never been more convinced we need a special prosecutor.

And assuming in the highly unlikely event he is telling us all of the truth, if his narrative is correct - that this is exactly what our intel officials have told him - then we are in an awful lot of trouble as a nation. Means that a good deal of our FBI has been compromised, unless it's merely a ruse on their part until they have all the evidence in place.

After that presser today, I expect to see more leaks soon; it's becoming clear that there is still too much resistance by House Republicans for this to get the attention it requires.

Bizarrely, since Nunes is consciously deciding to bury his head in the sand in an effort to stall (if not altogether vanish) Trump-Russia investigations, he may be bringing the Trump presidency to an even quicker end.

The IC wants Congress to do its job, but they're not going to tolerate this much longer.

At some point they're going to want a prosecutor to handle it rather than face the questions themselves.
