TrumPutinGate

Devin Nunes doing his best Baghdad Bob performance today for the national press.

So, no evidence of any contacts with any Russians whatsoever, eh? And intel officials told you this directly, eh?

So, I guess we're supposed to believe that, when Carter Page went to Moscow in the summer, he just isolated himself in a protective bubble and only had contacts with non-Russian citizens, business people, and government officials.

Get outta here, Nunes!

I've never been more convinced we need a special prosecutor.

And assuming in the highly unlikely event he is telling us all of the truth, if his narrative is correct - that this is exactly what our intel officials have told him - then we are in an awful lot of trouble as a nation. Means that a good deal of our FBI has been compromised, unless it's merely a ruse on their part until they have all the evidence in place.

So, the FBI and IC are patriots that can't be questioned, unless they disagree with your conspiracy theory... OK. Sounds reasonable.

There are elements of them that are compromised by foreign intelligence, which is stating the obvious. I've never claimed anything otherwise.

This in no shape or form is to be confused with 17 agencies agreeing we've been played by the Russkies in our election.

But I am accusing Nunes, a former Trump campaign member, of lying to the public, yes.

This is funny. The Russians are having buyers remorse about Trump. Trump's instability and the attention he's accidentally bringing on Russia is worrying them.

I've said since the first day it became obvious to me that Donny was something more than just a mere useful idiot that he could end up being Vlad's greatest boon or his biggest nightmare.

Not even a tactical mastermind like Vlad can fully anticipate the madness of King Donald.

So we have a former member of the campaign and a former member of the transition heading the respective congressional initiatives on Trump-Russia.

While we're at it, why don't we just get Putin himself as a special prosecutor so that we make it look "impartial." The investigation committees are too American-biased anyhow.

Yeah, yeah, it's Rachel Maddow. Yeah, yeah. She's biased, truthfully, but she does a darn good job if you just so happen to be the unfortunate recipient of her bias.

If you can watch all of this and tell us, with a straight digital interface, that there's nothing shady here, nothing to see here, then you are one of the following:

a) a complete nihilist
b) a Russian sympathizer who hates his native American land

As I have said, from the very beginning.

So it looks like the FBI thought the dossier on Trump was extremely credible. So credible that they were going to hire him to find more information on Trump and Russia.

Ultimately, they probably did not continue with Steele because of the nature of the dossier - purely raw HUMINT - but it does speak a lot for a document that simply started as a 4chan troll job on liberals.

:loco:

Sessions didn't tell the Senate he spoke to the Russian ambassador and has not recused from the Russia investigation. Sessions gave blatant false testimony to the Senate about his communications with Russian officials. The Attorney General of the United States lied to Congress, under oath, about his communications with a foreign government. But hey I guess that's fine now since there isn't a D next to his name.

Sessions and Flynn both spoke to the Russian Ambassador to the US?

The horror!

Well, damn.

Kislyak was sitting front row at Trump's first foreign policy speech last April.

Carlos is fantasizing, just like he did over his beloved polls

Sessions was asked if he talked about the election w the Russians. He said no

He was still a senator serving on the armed services committee. He met w 24 other foreign ambassadors. But god forbid a Russian be among them. They probably conspired against Hillary over a cold bowl of borscht
