I'm feeling like this is a no win: no commitments may be indicative of sub-par recruiting, yet no commitments may also be indicative of waiting for better talent this year. You can probably guess who will gravitate to each viewpoint.

Dammit I wish we had Dobbs one more year. I know I said otherwise early in the season last year, but he came on strong late. With a new QB it's going to be a struggle. I just hope recruiting will pick up

Who said to wait? Just because a kid commits early it doesn't mean he is not an elite player.

I was just making light of the epic VN struggle between the extremes. Just wondering aloud what it would look like if Butch quit accepting commitments from marginal guys early.

I never hit the one in ft worth but i did eat,at the love shack there same chef, the burger with a quail egg is ridic.

That chef is a celebrity in his own right. Saw him on Gameday when they were there for a TCU matchup. Wonder if he'll do the same for UT?

No commits, but the feedback has been very positive and the new coaches are getting rave reviews. I'm feeling like the weekend was a success based on the reports coming out. Recruiting is a marathon not a sprint.
