If I'm hiring an AD for a school as big as UT, I will only hire someone with extensive experience as an AD, not a former football coach with no AD experience. I will always be a Fulmer fan, but he doesn't have the necessary skill set. Because the $$$$ boosters feel they can drive the decision, we get who they want, not what UT needs. Sadly, I see the administration getting this wrong. I would be willing to bet that Blackburn gets a major university AD position within the year. He's that good. And we get good ole Phil.

The new AD is facing some major issues with underperforming programs and coaching decisions.

They néed to just put me in charge of all things UT. I know us as well as anyone.

We hate the current AD
We hate the former AD
We hate the former chancellor
And already slamming the new chancellor
We hate the fb coach
And the LV coach
We hate the local media
We hate the national media.
We hate most the former coaches
Even the assistants
We hate some of the new assistants and don't even know them.

We will keep the softball staff and Barnes until he doesn't win a NC next yr
Hire Blackburn and Eric Berry for every position and Boom!
I'm popular for 3 weeks then fire myself for being hated.

I hate thinking that some of the young guys who needed that freshman to sophomore jump (Jones, Hall, KMack, Tuttle, Picou) were subject to a S&C program that wasn't up to SEC standards.
