You can easily look at the numbers.

GA is one of the most gerrymandered states in the nation.

Did you notice how long it took them to call GA for Trump? In the past, GA was called the minute the polls closed. That should tell you all you need to know.

Those sampling models sure worked well this election cycle didn't they?

It was dumb as hell. Nobody on the ground here thought Hillary had a chance in Georgia.

I never thought she had a chance. I was pleasantly surprised at the closeness of the race. The trends are all headed in the right direction.

The site I looked up says:
Trump: 2,089,104 - 51.1%
Clinton: 1,877,963 - 45.9%

That is a 5.2% difference where I come from. I am not going to spend the time to divide the total vote into each side to see the percentage to one ten thousandth. I don't care.

There are 22 Communist senate seats up in 2018. At least Seven of those seats are vulnerable to going Republican.

There are only nine Republican seats up for election and they will all remain Republican.

Luther, there isn't a huge trend going on I n Georgia right now. It may have shifted very slightly more blue due to the influx of Latinos, Yankees, etc. I think that 2000 and 2004 were a bigger victory for Bush than most other years because Al Gore and John Kerry were not well liked in the South. Gore didn't even carry his supposed home state of Tennessee.

A fact for which I have never forgiven Tennessee. How much better off the world would be had Tennessee not been so backward. (More disappointing and embarrassing than loosing to Vandy 8 straight years.)

The problem arises because trump lies more than the media and his supporters seem to be brainwashed into believing the lies. I can understand believing him in the gray areas like Russia, but some his lies are outlandish and there are a bunch of fools that continue to believe.

That's because Trumps anti-Nafta message doesnt sell as well in metro ATL as it does in WI, PA, OH, MI. The rural GA vote for Trump was massive and that support is growing. I guarantee the liberals nominate a SJW and GA wants no part of that.

And its OK that he lies without consequences? If I wanted to rule with impunity, step one would be to erode and undermine the press.

Trump is winning me over, and part of the reason is his treatment of the press, which is much different than you are portraying.

What he actually said yesterday was, "Write bad stories about me, please. I will respect you and support you if you write bad stories about me. Hold me accountable when I do things wrong, and I invariably will. But what I will not support is your constant lies. The American people deserve better."

There is nothing wrong with that whatsoever. It's a very respectable sentiment, actually.
