Dear Donald

GA has been a red state in every presidential election since 1992. Trump carried GA by a smaller margin than any republican candidate since 1996. GA has moved from a solid red state to a purple state. That trend back toward blue is not changing.

Most of your blue comes from metro Atlanta, Savannah, and Athens

Just like Knoxville, Nashville, and Memphis are normally blue

Even in the northeast, most counties outside of the big cities are red

If you went by counties, Red far exceeds blue

The percentage margin was exactly the same as 2008.
1996: Dole won by 1.2%
2008: McCain won by 5.2%
2012: Romney won by 7.8%
2016: Trump won by 5.2%

I had it at 5.1%. Thanks for checking, I knew you cared.

I caught some of the press conference. If nothing else, he is entertaining (regardless of how you feel about that quality in a POTUS).

Although it may be gratifying or entertaining to see someone fight against the media at large, he didn't help himself with the some of the shallowness of his answers. If he could mix in more substance and cut down on using "very" so often, he'd really help himself.

His shallow answers are a direct function of his shallow grasp of the facts and the issues.

Sure. Can't argue with that. Where people live with other people of different colors and backgrounds, they vote democrat. Where people live in more isolated areas, they vote republican. Never knew if the chicken or the egg came first.

He is President in those areas too.

The fact that theres no section 8 housing projects where large concentrations of folks have been put on plantation food stamps out in the sticks has nothing to do with that....its all about colors of peoples skin. Makes sense.

If youre a brainwashed lib

I'm not convinced of that. Having said that, I'm not advocating the antithesis either.

Bottom line, he's just in way over his head. I realize a lot of people disagree. I just think that people are taking signs, over and over, that this is coming off the rails, and in a combination of not wanting to admit that their support of him was wrong headed plus just plain wishing the pundits were wrong, are ignoring reality.

That will only last so long.

Everyone who takes the job is intrinsically in over their heads. Just the nature of the job.

As for people who supported him, if they actively supported him for the sake of him during his campaign, then they aren't going to find a fault in his presidency thus far.

If they only supported him because he wasn't an establishment Republican and wasn't Hillary, he still isn't either one of those, thus they are not going to find enough fault in his presidency yet because both of the other options would have done worse thus far.

I'm actually enjoying a POTUS telling the press they are full of #&*@to their faces. Won't ever get old

I can't wait to see this and get my own interpretation.

But before I watch it, I will say that he isn't a politcian, so he want behave like a politician. However, they are journalists, and should still conduct themselves as journalists.

Unhinged.

Wrong as usual. I bet you didn't watch what was going on today w/Trump.Trump even said he was having fun doing this today....he wasn't unhinged as you lie about.

He was there taking questions for 1hr & 17 minutes. He likes to bash the press.

I've been hearing this for 10 years. Yet, there are exactly zero statewide elected Democrats and the Democratic congressmen are all in gerrymandered districts.

Is it only crazy to me that people argue to the point of hatred about political parties, and those same parties that people have an undying loyalty to could care less about those same people?
