I was the S2 NCOIC there from Jan 08- Oct 08 and became an ARCC with SFC Oothoudt. Small world.

I'm done having kids. Plus, I'll just pull a Lucy from Peanuts and move the ball(s) at the last second.


Would you rather the Mods go lax and the trolls and negas run rampant or the Mods develop a Gestapo type posture and a particular sandwich component is ban hammered?

The trolls and negas have been running rampant. So might as well be allowed to have a fun conversation ( in the wrong forum) on occasion too.

That's the thing about good conversation though, it just happens.

Option A since I'd probably be ban hammered instead of just teetering on the edge as I do.

Most definitely. I retired in 2006. I do not know SFC Oothoudt. Who was the commander then? I am sure many of the guys I was there with were still there in 2008.

Sometimes reading this forum can be akin to that but I will say that no I do not pull them out on the reg. Unless they are grey, then they gotta go.

3. See above post. Sometimes it isn't just about revenue, but also perception. The LVs are one of the things the university is nationally recognized for. We should do what is necessary to keep it elite, not just middle of the pack.
4. It's much more disrespectful to Pat and her legacy to keep letting the program sink. 5 years is PLENTY long enough to honor her wishes as Holly being her successor.

Much like the football program should, if you are supposed to be elite, act like it. That's the problem I have with it. Our administration doesn't care. They don't appear to have the desire to be elite at anything, and I don't care for that attitude.

Edit* I want to be clear that I like Holly and would love for her to be successful. I hate suggesting that coaches be fired because they put so much of their life into it. Especially someone like Holly who absolutely bleeds orange. But those in charge have to put the best interests of the program ahead of that.

Plus I don't like the idea of getting punched in the face while I'm on the ground. I feel like that would result in death.
