Here is one big problem that you guys are missing. Dobbs needed to run 10+ times a game as well for us to be effective. All of you guys were screaming about letting Dobbs loose. That takes away from carries to a RB. There is one football. We had 3 dynamic rushers of the football. It is so very easy to have this argument now. Alabama didn't have a QB that could run like that until this year.

Dobbs need the option to run. But coaches force fed Josh Smith on screens. Those touches could've gone to Kamara or Byrd. IMO

Yeah, but knowing what we know now, carries should have been 70-30 Kamara-Hurd rather than the other way around

Being a Golf fan and love playing the game, The Phoenix Open has become one of favorites to watch. Amazing gallery. They said around 250,000 today on that gold course. I love it.

I play golf pretty much every day and I've been to that tournament a bunch of times. I was there when the 16th hole only had two corporate stands behind the green. One of the best courses in Phoenix. This tournament is amazing to attend in person. They're nuts out there in the desert :peace2::peace2:

I agree.

Looking back at the production this past season, I still wonder what would have happened if the coaches had realized that their best offensive weapons at the start of the season were Dobbs, Hurd/Kelly, Kamara, Malone, and Jennings - and then built an offense around them.

I would have kept Hurd or Kelly beside Dobbs for the zone read with Kamara or Byrd coming across the formation for the jet sweep threat. That's the base play I would have built my entire offense around. Kamara sitting on the sideline waiting for his turn behind Hurd at the beginning of the season was such a waste of talent.

I know folks like to point at the points Debord's offense put up this last season, and I don't disagree that he did some good things, but I wonder how many times our offense worked in spite of him and not because of him.

SCAR and Vandy did the damage not how we used RBs. 😎😎😎😎

I'm sure of it. I'm optimistic that Kelly and Jones will quell the kind of criticism that comes from articles like that. If we remain healthy and the OL improves, that is.

They should have either run more under center/pistol with Hurd or parted ways with him altogether in the offseason. But like the S&C situation, all that is water under the bridge.

Seems like a lot of you are trying to find a reason to be miserable in here today.

Parade All-Americans published today. In their 2-deep, I am seeing 4 for Georgia, 3 for Bama and for the Vols ... 3 also.

I thought that if we had a first-teamer, it would be Trey Smith, but dang if they didn't have Butler there. Y'all heard me right, our sky-is-falling DL just got a first-team Parade All-American.

Then Smith was on their "Honorable Mention" 2nd team, along with ... Solon Page!

I still continue to say, call me a sunshine pumper if you want like the FF guys did, but Butler is ridiculously underrated as a 3 star. That kid is going to be really good imo

Should've stopped throwing Josh Smith screens. He hasn't broke one for a TD yet. Byrd came close vs Kentucky.

After Byrd displayed toughness and was winning against the Florida DBs I expected him to fully supplant Smith. Guess the coaches had other plans.

Agree... I don't think I remember Smith doing anything this year except drop balls...
