Back in the day, they threatened me for straining on a dumbbell press, and it wasn't that loud, lol
Not like a deadlift PR
I was driving to TN yesterday and didn't keep up. However, if you negas can't read, you should learn. The heart comment was directed at competitiveness. Hurd was a five star but he had a three star heart. Barnett was a three star and played with a five star heart. That's all the man was saying. We all get that you all can't stand him and want him gone but get over yourselves already.
Just saw that Brandon Johnson will be limited at spring ball with a shoulder surgery. That makes Vickers, Kyle Philips and Abernathy all limited with shoulder issues.... Any thoughts on why that is happening? Saw it here:

I recall that Rock was working shoulders in a UT video that they put out. I edited to note that they were limited and not out. My bad.
Hyams said this morning he expects Trey Smith to start. His coach said he is already better than any tackles we've trotted out the last few years.
Nothing they haven't already said...Did VQ say anything about coaching changes?
We believe that Steve Stripling is moving to an off the field role in Butch Jones football cabinet that will allow him to still make an impact and help mentor not only players, but also younger coaches. We believe that former Michigan head coach Brady Hoke, who was at Oregon last year, is going become the new defensive line coach at Tennessee barring any snags. After six coaches over six straight seasons, Stripling provided a stable force during his four seasons as the defensive line boss.
As for the possible movement on the offensive line, the question seems to be more when and not if in our opinion. Will Tennessee simply let the contract for Don Mahoney run out or will they move faster to not waste the month of February? The latter could require paying Mahoney a small amount of money in a potential pro-rated buyout. Needless to say it's our understanding that it would be a real surprise if a change was not made. A release of Mahoney would pave the way for quality control offensive line assistant Walt Wells to take over the offensive line room, if that's the direction Jones wanted to go. Wells was key in aiding with Drew Richmond's development in the second half of the season.
Not the easiest, and can't really go heavy, only had 155 on, but was doing front squats, just clean on first rep.
Of course Trey's HS Coach is gonna say that. Of course there's a little bias there. I'd love to see Trey ball out, even as a true freshman, but I'd be surprised if he started game 1. At any spot on the OL. There's just an adjustment period needed for freshmen coming into a league like this.
