I haven't really kept up with recruiting that much this cycle. Despite not being heavy on blue-chips, did this class at least fill our roster needs?

That's the most important thing to me. Even if Butch doesn't work out, I think the next guy could win pretty quickly if the roster is at least "complete" with no glaring holes or deficiencies.

Has Florida pulled anyone today to improve their class (other than Conliffe yesterday)? I know they were getting railed on last week because their class was so bad, and I assumed they'd pick up some players today, although I'd give my left nut if they didn't get any pleasant surprises!

They grabbed a 4* lineman Slayton. He's rated as an OT but he's gonna start out on defense. I think only 2 schools offered him for defense, so it might be one of those "yeah sure you can start there" offers but they plan on moving him eventually

Even though we have a higher percentage of 3*s, they all seem to have good speed and size. Those are important elements that can lead to being solid contributors. With the coaching staff evolving, we'll see how these kids develop. I think there will be some big surprises.

Yes.

Hit RB and DB pretty hard, which was necessary. You could also put LB and DL into that boat, and we did better at LB than DL this cycle, IMO. We got quality on OL and at WR, but nothing truly special outside of Trey Smith.

So, I think we hit the spots we needed. However, it's disappointing when you don't land more elite, top-level guys at positions like DT and QB or even WR.

Finishing 7th the SEC is horrible. Hope we teach up these guys!

When will Hoke and Wells be announced?

I though UGA was a top 5 class?

What does that have to do with the Vols? But yep they are hard for us to compete when we are out of top 15. Common sense

That is now the big question. My guess is the announcements will come very soon. I wonder if there will be any other changes. There has been some rumors that CBJ was not happy about the recruiting efforts of staff. Bears watching.

I thought we were 6th in the SEC. Who passed us? South Carolina or Florida?

Or is this another classic Catbone move to make bad news even worse by lying?

Our recruiting class sucks this year. No need to lie to make it even worse.

UF ahead of us on 247 composite team ranking. Lmao at all y'all making fun of "horse teeth" and how well he can recruit. Smh!
