First year that Butch has been here that I didn't watch the live NSD show. Just very underwhelmed by this class. Still hopeful though. I think these guys will get good coaching. Ready for all the staff changes to happen.

Very legit question. I was pretty underwhelmed when we signed him. He is a beast and can ball. We are a much worse team when he is not on the floor.

Ditto this, everyone is entitled to their opinion but his crap gets old. Everyone knows what kind of post it's going to be so maybe an ignore feature could be implemented?

Really as simple as locking up the state. If Butch lands the in state guys, 2018 will be huge. Have to do it tho. Thankfully we have Cade and Taylor helping

Same thing said last year. That said, I think last year's class better than ranking. Low at DT hurts though.

I guess. The VN composite makes it look a little better anyway. I am curious to see how it would stack up against years past but no way I am taking the time to do that.

watching Les Miles on signing day coverage right now, cant help but just like the guy. Anybody think he will ever coach again? I dont think hes a bad coach, just got complacent where he was and maybe could just use a nice change of scenery. Kinda like Barnes for us.

Page is ranked 350 on 247 which I am pretty sure would make him a 4* on Rivals. 3* is his highest ranking though.

With our resources and the amount of money we invest in recruiting a top 10 class isn't asking too much.

Everybody has resources and money to invest in recruiting. Everybody.

Yeah, only those who live and die by the composite are calling this a 3 ⭐️ class. Lot of guys are 4 ⭐️ on other sites as you've shown

I don't think Butch would do that but I do think it is in the back of the minds of assistants who are unsure about their futures that every recruiting battle they win is just pissing off potential future employers. I'd like to think the assistant coaches are above that sort of thinking but it's not like they're bound by a code of professional ethics like lawyers and physicians.

one thing i am happy about with the class are the corners. we needed some DBs and we got three 6ft corners who i think will be real good players.

If I'm a head coach I'm hiring the guy who is stealing football recruits from me. Not the guy who is backing off cause he hopes I might hire him years from now.

Stop and take a reality check and think about how dumb your post sounds.
