Our are all well evaluated diamonds in the rough and will be coached up to 5*.
I think in today's terms, the star ratings are overblown. Most probably don't even recall the definitions for each level.
3*= These are the players who will develop into reliable starters for the college teams. They are among the best players in their region of the country, and are generally among the top 750 players in the nation.
4*= Prospect will be an impact-player for his college team. All-America candidate who displays pro potential. Typically one of the top 300 players in the nation.
5*= Five-star prospect. One of the top 25 or so prospects in the nation. Player has excellent pro potential, and should emerge as one of the best players in the country before his college career ends.
I, by no means, am satisfied with this class. But in an attempt to call a spade a spade. This class is a depth class. Reliable starters by their Junior/Senior years but not impact, not special. Does this mean they can't exceed their rating? No. Does this mean that they will? No. Does this mean that the recruiting scouts were on with their evaluation? No.
In the end, one class like this will not make or break us. It will hold us steady. We do have some impact type players, we probably have some underrated players, and we will have some depth players.
