Sanderson does a great job finishing up the series.

Sanderson does a great job finishing up the series.

He sure did. Sanderson admitted that he had a small problem with Mat in the first book, but he fixed and it was great. Very glad the story got a conclusion!

You can't fire a coach who takes her team to the Elite 8. Many, if not all, of the LV big donors, totally back her because she was Pat's named successor. She is not going anywhere unless she chooses.

I need to give The Wheel of Time another shot. I read the first book years ago, and found that Jordan's world-building was great but his writing style was a bit dry for me. Perhaps my tastes have changed since then.

They have looked liked a shell of their former selves. They went to the Elite 8 on luck alone. If you call it anything else you are sadly mistaken. They should have replaced her 3 years ago.

And just because she has a great class coming in, it doesn't Mather if you don't develop them. What about all the high school ALL AMERICANS she has now? Why aren't they dominating now?

His writing style almost made me quit after book 5. He'll introduce the first line of a conversation, then write 5 pages of extremely minute detail describing the chair someone is sitting on. Then finally the conversation is allowed to continue. The story is worth the tedium though, you should give it another go. Book 4 was especially incredible.

WOT was 2 phenomenal books, followed by 8 books that could have been condensed into 2 good books, and then 3 or 4 more really good books.

It all ties together really well by the end. It is a LONG read, but the payoff imo was absolutely fantastic.

Brandon Sanderson did a great job finishing the story.

Good to hear. Got caught up in life and other books. Would like to finish it up this summer.

Perrin and Mat were my favorites.
