I never watch his show but I happened to be at home early today and I was flipping around when I saw this live. I thought the guy had a stroke or something live on air. It was rough.

You were smarter than me then. I got more than my fair share of technical's called on me but they were always retaliatory fouls for ish that had been done to me.

I never played basketball but I wrestled and I had my fair share of unsportsmanlike conducts(basically a tech)...... if you got 2 of them you were suspended for the next match Tssaa rule not coach's I had my fair share but my worst one was on senior night my senior year I lost a close match to our rival and was pissed got 1 called on me(I said you suck to the ref's face and a few other things) I then walked over to the bench and did something that should have gotten a 2nd one called on me but the ref had his back turned and didn't see it, or I would've been suspended for regions and not gone on to become the first state placer at my high school.

Ps. You have to qualify top 4 at regions to get to state and regions was our next match, so I would have been suspended for regions

He just left dead air, and broke out in a sweat and looked disheveled. Then a caller was talking and he left..

And football and ran track Got thrown out of one football game I middle school too

I hate basketball refs more than anything in the sports world. I quit the sport over it, couldn't habdle the blatant inconsistencies and stupidity. I felt like every game was figuring out how to play with the refs instead of actually playing the game.

You serious Clark?

I was in a small school district, same refs almost every game. They made it impossible to just play, so I went to soccer full time. Made me dislike basketball ever since. Even at the professional level, refs decide too much of the game. One team will shoot 3x as many FT as the other, just not fun to watch when refs ruin it.

Why is everyone proud of being disrespectful to referees?

Last night's game with the VOLS was horrible. It was two hours of free throws.

SEC officiating in both football and basketball is so corrupt and always have been. It's kind of hard to care about the outcome of games in both sports anymore. I don't watch the NBA any more for the same reasons of the officials orchestrating the outcomes. At least in the NFL teams can still beat the opponents and the officials in many cases. But that is getting worse as well.

As Ziti said yesterday, not caring any more about UT boosters' and admin's lunacy is the only way to approach it because Joe Fan gets the tail end of it all anyway. I love sports so instead of the final outcome of games I now try to focus on watching the players' performances as well as the coaches associated with them. It helps to overcome the corruption and Vandy/USCe type stuff.

FWIW, people wonder why I love to watch PGA level golf. Many call it boring to watch even if they play the game. The person, the golf ball, the golf course, the conditions, the same set of rules for everybody, the outcome. Only need an official for a rules interpretation. For the most part the golfers today are incredibly talented athletes.

Back to football. CCW may prove to be Butch's best hire to date.

the list of names on the search list looks like a Keiser Soze effort made sitting in someone's office or browsing a ut newsletter.

Mitch Barnhart - OUT
Byrne - hired by Bama, was being courted by Florida and Tennessee but Bama had an opening all of 8 hours before hiring this guy while we were standing around
Cincinatti AD - still in play
Phil Fulmer - Zero experience, still in play
David Blackburn - still in play

Is this our AD target board now? We have a 6 person search committee formed after we've zeroed in on this list of 3?

This is the biggest embarrassment at UT since the press conference by the butt chugger and his lawyer.
